Very clean rooms. Pleasant staff who tidied our room everyday. The location was very close to all the sights of Ghent
When we arrived the room was very cold as the heating at the hotel is not switched on yet. They did give us an electric heater. Just next door to the hotel is a building site so not very attractive.

The room was really big, well decorated, nice view to the river, really clean and comfortable. The staff was polite and nice, they had a lot of materials for tourists. The elevator was always available and the location was perfect to get to know the main tourist attractions

Location was superb, We walked everywhere and were very comfortable walking even at night. The town square with lots of picturesque places to stop for a drink was just a few streets away.
Breakfast was excellent. There was a large, spacious dining room with an outdoor section, too. Good choice of hot and cold foods. Wonderful coffee machine.
Rooms were large and very comfortable, with beamed ceilings that gave them great atmosphere. The bathrooms were enormous.
My only concern was that the shower was very slippery and I was worried about falling when I was getting out of it. I think a no-slip bathmat would have been a nice touch, especially since kids or elders often are a little off-balance in the shower.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful
I specifically booked a night at the hotel so that I could get a decent nights sleep (the heatwave had been causing me sleepless nights). However, there are major building works going on next door which started at 6am and disturbed my sleep. The hotel knew that this work was ongoing and had received complaints previously, but they didn't warn me or take any action to delay the works. I think they need to come to some sort of agreement with the company doing the building work, or they need to not use the rooms closest to the renovations.
