Super accomodatie super personeel niet twijfelen gewoon boeken

De locatie, de super service van en naar het hotel met de shuttlebus van en naar de parking en de boot van en naar hotel naar de binnenstad alles is top geregeld. Het hotel en personeel allemaal even vriendelijk en behulpzaam, het was boven verwachting in en rond het hotel mooi privé strand mooie zwembaden mooie wandelroutes op t eiland, wij kom weer terug. De kamers zijn goed mooi met balkon wel wat gedateerd en de douche is wat aan de kleine kant voor wat stevigere mensen. Maar t is te doen. Het ontbijt en diner van het hotel, gewoon weg super meer dan genoeg en volop variatie, en de prijs is een hele nette prijs zo ook van het hotel... echt een aanrader

Enkel dat de douche wat klein was voor gezettere mensen, en de kamer was wat gedateerd wat de meubels betreft maar zeker goed te doen.

Very special and quite place to go.

I have that it was its own island and the little boat came every hour so it was nice and easy to still explore. The pool was a great size and the views all around the island was amazing. Id love to go back one day.

The rooms definitely need a bit of a refurbishment as they are old-fashioned. And I wish they had an all inclusive option as it is expensive for drinks if you are planning on staying there all day.

Perfect! Deffinetly coming back!

Amazing location, great beach, great pools. Staff is amazing. Marko and Luka great help on reception, best smile and very friendly. Valentina in the pool bar also amazing. Also, hats down to animation team, they are doing amazing job. Sabina in the restaurant could use some smiling lessons. Very good breakfast and dinner

Rooms definitely need some refreshing in terms of furniture. Apart from that everything else is amazing.

Heavenly island paradise

Oh God, it was amazing. What a magical heavenly spot. The whole garden island belongs to the hotel. Only 3 stories, spread out, great facilities, dreamy jewel from where you can practically touch romantic Rovinj. They come and get you or drop you from the company' s info point or the town's main dock on the mainland by Boat, only a 5 min ride. Once you are on the island with its private pebble beaches, bars and clear water, landscaped grounds, you feel the magic of the place . Comfy elegant room with balconyand incredibly extensive top quality breakfast. Come hungry! You can walk around the whole island too! A quiet and luxurious island get-away in gorgeous Rovinj. Staff was nice and everyone spoke English perfectly too.

The one and only negative is the infrequent bost service, only once an hour. A lit of waiting if you miss it.

Relaxing quiet location close to the bustle of fabulous Rovinj.

The location of the hotel is stunning, on its own island. It had a beautiful atmosphere. We had a lovely room with a sea view. The buffet style breakfasts were very good indeed with lots of hot and cold food to choose from.

The hotel could have provided a wider range of snacks at lunchtime. As you are "trapped" on the island (in a nice way) with boats to Rovinj once an hour, it's not possible to pop across whenever you want. We only ate in the restaurant one evening - it was very reasonably priced and perfectly adequate, but not fantastic. About what you'd expect for the money, I guess.

Superb

Location was perfect. Hotel on a green island accross Rovinj old town. Free boat rides for hotel guests. Staff was very friendly and overall service was great.

WiFi coverage could use some boosting.

Beautiful hotel, excellent service, friendly staff, delicious food. A place where you are so close, yet far enough away from the old town to relax and enjoy the beauties it has to offer. Everything except the appearance of the interior of the room is an absolute 10. Highly recommended for hotel and Katarina Island.

a taste of heaven

I don't know if I prefer more the location of the hotel or the peace that the island offers. In the embrace of wonderful nature hides a hint of old-fashioned luxury with the breath of a modern hideout for mental relaxation. Especially, if you are greeted by a receptionist with a smile like Marko does, it's only a matter of time before I come visit it again. :) Complete peace is filled only by the meditative sounds of waves and birds. A bit of the city bustle can be reached in just 5 minutes by boat. Definitely an experience for a break that I would recommend to everyone.

we loved this property!! it’s location on its own island is beautiful!! the grounds are lovely; the pool and beach area are so nice and the staff and food is top notch!

Enjoyable 4 days on katarina island

Relaxing island vibe , easy boat ride to Rovinj , quiet except for the squawking gulls at night. Breakfast and dinner were varied and acceptable, sometimes not quite determinable what was in the mixtures, but coffee was excellent. Staff was helpful. we walked around the island which was very pleasant.

Room I had booked was too tiny . they offered family room with a tiny, dangerous shower , so we switched to another room that was very satisfactory other than the shower floor was very slippery when used.

Amazing location on its own quiet and secluded island

Quiet pebble beaches with access to the clear blue sea. Fabulous view from our 3rd floor room overlooking the old town of Rovinj. The short boat ride to and from town.

One or two of the staff were abrupt and unhelpful

Situation was perfect. Bedrooms were a little dated but we really didn't mind that.

Perfect location with easy access by boat shuttle to the mainland.

Excellent location and views of Rovinj, (harbours and Old Town) and out to sea. The environment and peace of the island. Had a family suite with very large balcony and views were wonderful. Enjoyed walking around the island and the choice of beach areas, the cafe, fab pools etc., etc.

Brilliant location, we would stay again. when the refurb is finished it will be amazing

beautiful beautiful location. Really the main selling point for us. Gorgeous old building and lovely grounds. Loved the easy access to Rovinj. Masses of excellent restaurants with a 5 minute boat trip. Most of the stuff were friendly and helpful. Great new beach restaurant as part of the hotel, food excellent. Good breakfast. Very clean, the room staff do a fantastic job.

we were in a family room initially, having booked a standard. The very very tired shower, leaked into our daughters room below. This whole block is out dated and tired. we were both moved, first relocation had an even worse bathroom which we refused to stay in. The hotel did move us again to another room, this time with a refurbished bathroom…hurrah ! The whole place really needs updating in lots of areas, it does look that they re starting to do this .However, despite the room palava , the location is so stunning, it really is worth a visit, to a grand old hotel. Very odd evening buffet…poor. We had it one evening, then went out each night, shame….

Fabulous hotel just a little maintenance required.

Excellent hotel & grounds offering a regular ferry across to old town free for hotel guests. Breakfast excellent. Rovinj is magical.

The room had a few things broken. The bedside light, the outside clothes rack , a very noisey fan in bathroom . The shower door was broken also but this did get fixed next day . We did not want to complain as we were upgraded to a better room with a magical view..the old town.

This was our family summer vacation. we had a wonderful time at this place.the lunch was good at the beach restaurant.

all bathroom is wet after shower. because there is no closed door.

Truly amazing and calm location, just 5 min boat ride away from charming town of Rovinj.

View over town of Rovinj and its vicinity, uncrowded beaches with a lot of possibilities to sit in the shadow, friendly hotel staff, mini club with activities for kind. Katarina island is simply a magical place.

Nothing that's worth mentioning.

Very good

Beautiful island and historic hotel. Pool, beach, restaurants and food were great! Convenient boat to Rovinj

Some of the staff in the restaurants and bars were a bit grumpy and seemed stressed/ overworked. At least not enjoying their jobs.
