We liked the island and the resort, the food is excellent, the staff is friendly and professional
It needs a serious renovation, the rooms are old and unacceptable for the money, the two rooms are separated by a locked door so you are only separated from other people by the door

Very quiet island in front of city center with stunning sunset views. Breakfast and dinner (buffer style) had one of the best selections along our trip. Staff were super welcoming and nice (especially lady that met us at the reception and gentleman who welcomed us at the dinner). Good pool. Would have loved to stay longer.
Hotel has lots of potential if rooms can some upgrade and better decorations. overall spacious and clean room with very nice balcony.

This was our second stay at Hotel Katarina. We returned because it is a fabulous location, everything is really well organised, the staff are so attentive and helpful, we particularly like the fact that you can only get on and off the island by ferry. Rovinj is a beautiful old coastal town, it is clean and safe, not plagued by stag or hen parties, it is a place to chill and watch the world go by.
We went half board. I want to make it clear that the food is varied and plentiful but it is a little bland for my personal taste.
