The room was homey, and very nice with a private bathroom as well, good walking distance from the venue and underground
The room was quite hot as had to use both fans to try and cool down but cant help that the outside was hot as well.

The hotel was in a great location, no more than a five minute walk to the tube station.
It had a fridge and a fan, very helpful during this heatwave.
The staff were always checking we were happy.
Plaza Hotel is perfect for those needing a place to sleep, shower and get out and visit the city.
Also plenty shops round about to grab a sandwich and drink.
It was perfect for us.

Price was good, location was good, fridge was handy, toilet/tv/shower/lighting all worked properly.
In the heatwave, the room was seriously uncomfortably hot even with the fan on. Indoors was actually much hotter than the ambient outdoor temperature and I was pouring with sweat. The carpet was rather old and stained but the heat was the worst aspect. Even at night, the room temperature was not dropping while outside the temperature fell by about 15 degrees celsius. I suppose it us the nature of the building, I'd be happy to use it again but not in heatwave weather.
