We spent a week here as a family with kids. Overall, we had a good experience once we acclimated to the place and how things were done. The staff were all helpful and friendly and the main buffet had a lot of variety.
We especially enjoyed the Eco bike tour with Memo, who was very knowledgeable about the area and history of the Mayan people. Swimming in the cenote and biking on our own on site were also pluses for the place.
The restaurants were hard to book - spots open at midnight, so you either stay up or wake up very early if you want a spot (sometimes there are cancellations/no shows and you can get in last minute). The beach isn't very good because of the seaweed - they are trying to keep it clean with barriers and crew, but it just keeps coming in.
The resort is large - so be sure to have extra time to walk from place to place (especially to get to a reservation on time) - this isn't really a downside (as it spreads out the noise and people - just something to be aware of).

Easy to get to adult only pool from my room- seeing the monkeys from my balcony was amazing 🙂
Nice and clean and house keepers even came in the afternoon if you didn’t go out in the AM

Surroundings and eco style and facilities
Some of the clientele were a little rowdy and the main pool activities encouraged such behaviour.
