The hotel is located in a quiet, nice neighborhood with good transport connections. Both the airport and the city centre are a reasonable distance away. The staff were very friendly, and the room was comfortable and well-equipped, with daily housekeeping.
They don't provide breakfasts, but there is a little café inside the hotel that we liked.
One downside was the hotel's policy of requiring guests to leave their keycard at the front desk every time they leave. Since there's a backup card in the room anyway, this felt unnecessary and created a bit of friction.
As for transit, there is no metro station right by the hotel, but you do have access to a few buses and a tram. We used a transport pass: while some of the outer bus routes seemed to fall outside the pass zone, taking the tram worked great to connect us with the metro and buses closer to the city centre.

A lovely hotel providing excellent value, only about 45 mn from downtown Barcelona depending on which mode of transport you choose -- the tram lines from La Sardana, about a 10 mn walk away, take you to the Zona Universitaria stop from which you have many choices to connect from, including the airport. Hotel was very clean, very well kept, in a quiet residential area. Several supermarkets within walking distance, close to La Sardana tram stop. Also close to the Finestrelles shopping center, and a little further L'Illa Diagonal shopping center. Breakfast is available, though not included, but is of very good quality for a very modest price. All in all, a very good choice providing excellent value for staying in Barcelona, if you don't mind a slightly longer commute time.

We liked the location, lots of bus stops. Friendly and calm neighborhood. Small grocery store and restaurants near by. The place itself had everything we needed, affordable food options and vending machine. The staff was friendly and fluent in english. Our room was amazing, spacious and clean. We weren’t expecting a balcony so it was a nice surprise. It seemed there wasn’t many people staying in so it was very quiet and calm.
