We LOVED our junior suite, even though a bit pricier than what I originally wanted to spend. Absolutely loved having our own terrace, and location right next to the pool. So happy that Hotel l'Hippocampe was pet friendly, as we mostly travel with our Maltese. He LOVED napping out on the terrace. The gardens and landscaping were stunningly beautiful, and the property's kind and wonderful gardenter gave me a grand tour. The pool was lovely and I spent lots of time there reading and relaxing. Loved that it was a saltwater pool and did not use chlorine! Better for people, and for the environment. Staff was very efficient and kind. Rooms were very clean. Was glad to have a mini-fridge in our suite. Great to have good towels and robes too! We would definitely stay there again! Food was good...had some really good monkfish skewers, but my sole the next day was overcooked and dry. Otherwise, food overall was quite good.
Was a little put off by owner's (?) 2 dogs, who were not as pet-friendly as we thought they would be. I was a little uncertain about walking ours with them around, so I think they were put in another room. Would have liked a little more variety at breakfast as we were there for 6 days...especially some fresh fruit!

Het uitzicht vanop het terras was super!
Hotel is té duur voor wat men er in de plaats krijgt. Weinig druk op het water in de douche; water lauw tot koud; airco maakt heel veel lawaai. Bediening in restaurant is amateuristisch door gepensioneerde man. Voor goedkopere prijs heeft men in Essaouira junior suite met knap ontbijt.
