The bed was clean and pillows comfortable.
We felt misled by the condition of this property. The building is quite old, and the photos—particularly of the windows and bathroom do not accurately reflect its current state.
The room itself showed significant signs of wear. The walls were heavily scuffed, the toilet was badly stained, and the shower had visible soap scum. There was also water damage and swelling in the wood near the shower.
Even the fan remote was dirty, which gave the impression that the unit had not been cleaned thoroughly. The fridge not work either and the wall fan was not very effective so the room was quite hot.
When we raised these concerns with the company, they thanked us for our feedback, said they planned to update the property, and offered a discount on a future stay. It did not address the disappointment with the condition of the accommodation nor did they even make sure to pass on to cleaning staff the state of the remote.
As many other reviewers have mentioned, accessing the building can also be challenging. If you don’t have a working phone, internet access, or are unable to follow the entry instructions exactly, you could easily find yourself locked out.
