Clean spacious property in a good location to access the main sites of Rome. Also, it's really close to so many great places to eat, from a quick breakfast to an enjoyed evening meal. Whilst we did not meet the host in person, the regular communication during the stay kept us informed of what we needed to know and check out was straight forward.
Nothing that stands out, but if you are not used to this style of accommodation where all contact with the host is done remotely and relies on a phone it could be a little unsettling.

We were in room number 2 for context.
Location was good, only a few mins walk from a metro stop. Shops and cafes nearby. Vatican was within walking distance which was lovely to walk around at night!
It was safely situated where you had multiple doors in and out that required a key.
Aircon was good & balcony was nice. Pillows and bed were comfy (though squeaky).
The host was very responsive, never had to wait for a message so very good communication there!
My ‘things I didn’t like’ are just ways in which things could be improved. I would recommend this place if you are looking to visit Rome or particularly the Vatican.
- Not a complaint but a warning to others: I had let the host know that we would be arriving via Ryanair flight landing at 7.30pm. Given the trains / trams involved, I expected to arrive around 9.30pm. I was warned that the absolute latest check in possible was 11.30pm. I asked what would happen in the event of a flight delay and I was told there was nothing else possible, 11.30pm was the last time. So, I would just keep in mind for any solo travellers, anyone vulnerable, anyone travelling with an airline prone to delays to maybe avoid this accommodation as if you miss the window, you are stranded. Thankfully, Ryanair didn’t let us down.
- On arrival, there was an awful smell in the bathroom coming from the drains. The noise as well anytime you use the toilet or shower as it’s a sanitrit (pump system) was annoying.
- The shower was not fixed to the wall and it was over a bath so, you had to hold the hose. Not ideal for shaving, scrubbing.
- The refrigerator was a small cooler which couldn’t fit 1.5 / 2L bottles so bring smaller bottles.
- The lift is small as this is part of an old building so keep this in mind with your luggage.
- Toilet paper was individual tissues rather than a toilet roll.
- quite a lot of dust under the bed and in the corners of the bed frame
- one socket was taped with sellotape to the wall (picture included)

Loved the location on a tree lined street, close to the Vatican and train stop. Very safe area for late night walking. Easy communication and access to the apartment. Elevator was helpful!

Perfect location, 10-15 minutes walking to Vatican City.
The area has excellent restaurants around.
Spacious room, nice view outside.
30-40 minutes walking to Stadio Olimpico.
Pillows must be replaced to all beds, too flat.
Sofa bed (3rd bed) must be replaced for a proper bed...too uncomfortable.
Bathroom too noisy...I understand it´s an old building but still the system is first time in my life I see something like that (sewage engine processor ?!?!?)
