Absolutely fantastic location. I don't think you could find a more central place to everything you want to see and walk to. The staff was wonderful and attentive. The breakfast was really delicious and quite extensive. We had one small issue with our shower faucet the first day and it es fixed by the time we got back. Just really well-run. The character in the hotel was so charming and felt like a quintessential European hotel with style and history. Would recommend to anyone!

My wife and I were happy on our initial stay, we were there for 4-5 nights. Very good location, not far from the metro and there is a bus stop just up the street. It was clean, and the air con worked well. The plug got stuck in the drain of the spa bath and they quickly organised someone to come and get it out. The breakfast was well presented, basic but was good to get you going in the morning.
On the second stay for one night we were in a room on the fourth floor and when we walked in we could both smell smoke. The man on reception denied that any of the rooms were smoking rooms in the hotel but it definitely smelled like someone had been smoking in there. This room was worn down, with some mould in the bathroom. We were reluctant to use the spa again on both stay because it looked like the plug mechanisms weren't working for both spas. On both stays a majority of the pastries were stale such as the croissants and donuts.
