Very disappointing experience & poor customer service.

We booked an apartment with two French balconies, but upon arrival discovered they were locked and unusable due to ongoing facade construction works. At the time of booking, the listing stated the construction would be finished by January 31, and none of the photos reflected the actual situation. Despite exchanging several messages with the property before arrival (regarding the deposit, city tax, and check-in), no one informed us about the construction or the blocked balconies. Instead of a bright apartment with balconies, we got a dark room facing construction works for nearly €1,000. We checked out immediately because the property did not match what was advertised, and requested a refund. Since then, both the property and Booking.com have been shifting responsibility to each other, and the issue is still unresolved. Only after this dispute started was the construction status finally updated on the listing. We did not stay overnight, so we cannot review the actual stay.

This was my second time staying here and would recommend.

Very straightforward process, you're a given a code for the apartment 24 hours before arrival along with instructions on how to enter the building. This was my second time staying here and would recommend.

Some building work is taking place on the front of the building and the basement , not a major issue for me as was at conference during the hours the builders were working but would be a problem during the day if you were using the apartment to work from at present.
