Ski in and ski out, excellent location for other dinner spot, mountain coffee and lunch. A second breakfast option by having the coffee shop inside is great if the buffet isn’t for you.

Madaro Kogan Hotel was a wonderful place to enjoy a ski in Japan. Its ski in ski out, with the ski rental hire in house, the skiing was awesome and it was not crowded. The onsen was a blessing. And the dinner and breakfast buffets was wonderful. Great value, great location and all u need to a week of skiing in Japan... super easy to get to as well... shinkansen from Tokyo to Iiyama Station and a short local bus to the front door all within 2.5hrs.
