Beautiful rural setting, so peaceful. Grounds were fantastic and a bonus having the games’ room, which we enjoyed. Hosts were charming and very welcoming.

The Combe Lancey is situated in a beautiful environment with a working Farm. So clean & wonderful hill views. Lovely to hear the cows, sheep & the birds in the garden or with the windows open.
The B&B is inside a beautiful building, the room was a generous size with a huge wardrobe, brilliant views from the windows, a large bathroom & toilet, everything exceptionally clean.
Just could not thank the charming & friendly host enough for preparing a wonderful breakfast made for us each morning.
The B&B is situated in Sanford village, & as advised we used Google Maps which brought us directly to the Farmhouse. .
We had a nice meal at the local pub only about a pleasant 15minute walk along the lovely green countryside. The locals were quite pleasant & friendly.
We drove to quite a few seafront Beaches not far from Sandford going via Exeter, as well as driving down to Crediton couple or morning (early to get a space) and parked at the Station(free) Car park, from there, easily catch a train & Bus to to all the towns & villages, really convenient. Lot of information at the B&B regarding all this. Wish we had booked for a longer break unfortunately due to other commitments we stayed for only 4 days but did a lot!
It's in my diary, definitely to go back to complete my 'places to go list, as in the map.
Believe me, there was nothing which could have made our journey/break unpleasant, could not fault it in anyway!! 😊 unable to load my pictures below 😢
