Cheap

The room they gave me was a grimhole. I wouldn’t put my worst enemy in there. Cold, cramped, hairs in the shower, broken guttering and downpipe outside was very noisy in the rain, and the smell of a deep fat fryer pervades everything.

I was arriving late after the pub was closed but they made sure that it wasn't an issue. Very clean and tidy room

The staff and owner are really friendly. I left there 3 boxes for pick up. They managed. Very clean, quiet big room, good mattresses. I called them for change the booking dates and it wasn't problem. I recommended that apartman.

The bin is too small in the room.

Great for an overnight stay and reasonably priced.

Beds were comfy. Large size room. It was well heated. It was clean. Staff were friendly. Price was good. Great for an over night stay.

The bathroom was quite small. The towels smelt musty so after a shower I felt like I needed another one.

Ideal for brief stay for travel to and from London and Heathrow.

Outside access to the room. Very good cafe/restaurant just opposite with good food at reasonable prices. Excellent transport connections (rail and bus within less than 50 yards and tube - via bus - just 4 stops away) in my case for getting to Central London and Heathrow. Checkout until 11 am and the property seemed quite flexible.

Perfectly adecuate for a single person (which was my case) but too small for two people.

location was good and with a pub downstairs what can not be wrong 😂 landlady was excellent upgraded one of our rooms and couldn’t be more pleasant

I had a very nice room with bath and shower, desk, mini-fridge, and very comfortable bed. Maybe I'm too easy to please, but what I'm looking for in a stay are cleanliness, comfort, and friendly hosts, and the Kings Arms checked all of those boxes for me. I believe it was Marco who welcomed me while working hard running the pub. As the pub is the main business here, it really shouldn't be surprising to hear some noise, but I found it reasonable. Staying on a Friday night (pub closes at midnight on Friday), the quality windows kept the noise down to a dull roar, despite my room being spitting distance from the garden, though in a separate building. Fast WiFi, large TV with plenty of channels. I also enjoyed one meal at the pub which was excellent (Cumberland sausages and mashed).

No breakfast, but for the reasonable prices it's tough to complain.

An accidental find but we will be back.

This was a last minute booking and what a find. The room was great, the pub is brilliant and all the staff were welcoming. We went down from our room in the evening to a packed pub and our hearts sank as there was no room to sit and the only spare table had reserved on it. Fear not it was reserved for us. The food was super pub food and the locals welcoming. This is how to run a pub and hotel. Top marks. We will be back.

Absolutely Brilliant

It was like just staying in your own bedroom, very comfy, tv to watch, nice cuppa tea in the morning. Bed was very comfy, will deffo consider again next time!

Typical “eastenders” type pub which has good food,clean rooms and friendly staff but heating system let it down

convenient to station and major roads. although parking was on a small section of waste ground adjacent to pub, it didn’t cause any problems and car wasn’t touched. Had a meal in pub which was nice and quite good value for London. Our room was large ( 2 x double beds) and plenty of space. the bathroom was small but modern and clean.

the noise!!! we expected a bit of noise being above the pub but it appears to put on loud music til late closing. however this was nothing compared to the heatin system which I can only describe as a drag car or hot Rod being started up every 15 -20 minutes. we complained on night 2 but it didn’t seem to make much difference. the manager was sympathetic and tried to stop the system to no avail. it seemed to stop at midnight but started again early morning. This and the continuous beat of the music meant a very sleepless night.
