Excellently positioned hotel, only a few minutes walk from the railway station, very close to both Kew Gardens and the National Archives, and with some great shops, cafes and pub located in the station approach. There's a lovely little craft and food market by there on a Sunday morning too.
The room was very good, comfortable bed, and control of the radiator and a window meant I could put the heat on when needed then knock it off, or air the place, then close it up as needed. Towels and water were replaced with new when I asked.
The food in the bar was very good, both at breakfast which was included, and for Sunday dinner.
The hotel wifi didn't seem to reach the room in any meaningful way, or perhaps they turn off repeaters when the bar closes, so it was not possible to get online late in the evening.

Good value for money, excellent breakfast, and above a pub !
Minor issue is that the food/meals in the pub cost 15% more than on the menu as service charge is added as you pay without mention ! ? I raised issue and was told ‘it’s policy’ .

Location was perfect. Characterful building. Staff friendly and food was superb.
Room a bit smelly kept toilet door shut. Water was a bit on off. Its on a pump. Room very warm.

The carpet in the family room wasn't clean, and I ended up sneezing all night.
