Location is really good. We had a hire car and used it to drive into Calpe town itself, but I guess it is close enough to walk into town. Calpe is beautiful.
Feedback regarding Villa – Urb. Canuta Baja, 6C, Calpe, Alicante
Dear Agent/Owner,
I am writing to provide detailed feedback following our recent stay at the villa. Unfortunately, a number of issues meant the property did not meet the standard advertised or expected for the price paid.
OUTSIDE AREAS
Garden maintenance — The pool and patio areas were surrounded by weeds, giving the entire outdoor space a very unkempt and neglected appearance. This was wholly unacceptable and the pool was unusable on day 1 of our stay. Thank you for weeding the patio areas on day 2 of our stay.
Broken plant surround (left side of patio as you look at the villa with the pool behind you) — The edging around the plants was damaged and in a dangerous condition.
Damaged lighting — A lamp on the perimeter wall was broken and lying down on top of the perimeter wall, this is clearly dangerous and requires repair In addition the white spherical lamp on the right of the steps to the villa (as you look at the villa with the pool behind you) is cracked.
LIVING ROOM
Table lamps on the unit— Both table lamps had no bulbs, this is basic housekeeping and should have been checked. Wall lamp above unit does not work (possibly both bulbs need replacing)
BEDROOM 1 - Lack of privacy — The window has just a net curtain there is no privacy curtain or blind, meaning anyone in the dining area can see directly into the room. This made the room unusable as a private space. Only the two bathrooms offered any real privacy in the entire villa.
BEDROOM 2 (Middle Room) Shared access and no privacy — This room adjoins Bedroom 3 with shared access to bedroom 3. This layout should be clearly explained in all future advertisements, as it is unsuitable for many family arrangements. It significantly affected our stay and was not suitable for our particular family set up.
One bedside table lamp had no bulb and was therefore not working.
BEDROOM 3
The only access to this bedroom was through bedroom 2.

Al llegar vimos lo viejo y deteriorado que estaba todo, pedimos a la inmobiliaria ECOMAR un cambio y nos dijeron que no tenían otra villa, y allí empezó todo. Camas sin sábanas bajeras, los fuegos de la cocina solo funcionaban la mitad, la luz de la cocina no alumbraba, la del comedor cambiaba de color y no podíamos hacer nada, había una colonia de gatos y todos los días habían excrementos alrededor de la piscina
Dijeron que mandarían un electricista y nunca llego. Lo dicho nos fastidiaron lo que podía haber sido una buena semana. Reclamamos a BOOKING puesto que reservamos con ellos y solo hemos conseguido un bono de 400€ y arreglado.Lo que no entiendo es que no controlen a las empresas con mala gestión.
