The staff was incredibly accommodating. We arrived many hours before the official check-in time, but because our room was ready, they gave us immediate access to it. Two of our three mornings we had to leave before the breakfast hours and so we’re offered a wonderful continental breakfast instead.
The room was a bit stuffy at night, but not any more than most hotels.

Comfortable beds. Cleaned well each day. Good double glazing.
Staff. Very unfriendly at reception, and in the dining room. Smiled and laughed and chatted among themselves, but sharp and brusk with paying guests. Not impressed at all. Pineapple ran out after a few days. Never seen again. Same with mushrooms for the omelettes. Rather plain bedrooms. Functional, not shabby, but unimaginative. Not good enough for the star rating at all.
