Breakfast and sauna were very good.
The room was standard. Not bad, but nothing exceptional.

room - spacy (we had a bigger apartment), comfortable, clean, adequately equipped, quite modern, although maybe not entirely new
staff - very friendly and helpful, a strong spot of the hotel!, goes for reception, restaurants and wellness
meals - good choice, tasty, breakfast and dinner buffets, choice of dishes mostly sufficient; special programs couple of times a week (grilled dishes or possibility of roasting sausages by the fire, which was very popular for our kids)
wellness - clean, saunas functional
child-friendliness - welcome gift, little game for kids with tasks around the hotel with a small prize at the end; 4x/week animation program; mascot greeting kids at breakfasts; playroom and reading room, small play-space in restaurant
the hotel looks older and could use a refurbishment, especially on outside and in corridors, parking spaces
room - equipment a bit cheaper-looking, not completely functional (e.g. ventilation in bathroom not working)
meals - breakfasts - repetitive, no changes in dishes (though choice is sufficient); dinner - choice of dishes could be more innovative (classic Czech dishes mostly, though tasty)
wellness - a weak spot of the hotel... swimming pool very small for the capacity of the hotel and a bit cold (25 degrees Celsius), whirlpool not functional (although they inform about it in advance), wellness area a bit cold and un-cozy, could be more comfortable with a bit of attention to detail (lighting, background music, warmer floors)
child-friendliness - more attention to detail could make a difference (e.g. in bathroom - soap could be lower to be within reach for children, and so forth); playroom mostly packed - again, a bit small for such a big hotel
value for money - better than most hotels in Spindleruv Mlyn, but still not ideal

Even the hotel was full but didn’t look that crowded
The cleaning and the service could be better for foreigners… the receptionist didn’t speak English.. food was ok.. from the pictures the play kids areas looks bigger..
