Good central location and many restaurants around. Small but well functioning fitness area in the basement. Decent breakfast in a traditional hotel style. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful to my questions.
Unfortunately this hotel could make some improvements. The carpets covering all corridors and rooms don't give a fresh impression. The wardrobes in the room had no space to store underwear, t-shirts or socks, unless you use the shelf on 180cm, which could be difficult for any normal sized person. All the other shelves were filled with items such as a safe and a fridge and one probably does not want to use the lower shelf which is normally used for shoes.
The towels had no loops to hang them on the hooks in the bathroom. The water tap was placed strangely far to the right, hardly reaching the sink where to wash one's hands. The corridor had no signs showing in which directions the rooms or emergency exits are. The pillows contained big lumps inside making them uncomfortable and hard.
During the breakfast, a sign promised three different kinds of milk, only one was visible. The "Venezia" salami had an unpleasant taste and consistence, the kind of thing you stay away form after eating it once. Other hams and cheese disappeared and was not restocked, not even quite early in the morning.
