Location was fantastic. Rooms were cleaned every day which I did not expect since it was so cheap. Staff were so kind. Felt very secure there - was never worried about security. 10/10 - would stay again. AC was also a lifesaver.

Really beautiful place for a tourist visiting Barcelona. In the living heart of the tourist part of the city. All attractions were minutes away from our room.
Rooms were clean and staff was polite and professional. There is always someone at the reception desk 24/7 which is nice.
Some people were writing bad reviews, complaining about mold in the hallway at the first floor. This problem has been removed, there is no mold. Hostel on third floor while that issue was on the first.
I also saw some complaints about loud place. I understand that some people have really sensitive sleep. But for me and my partner it was ok and even gave to the atmosphere of being submerged in the city that never sleeps. The street and the view from balcony is beautiful.
I think that for the price, the minuses are ok
Furniture is not that new, and there is no safe locker in the rooms nor it is present on reception
These are only two cons that I could name
So If you arrive at Hera, please be prepared, that there will be no safe locker present.
Old furniture is ok for the price, I can not really complain. It is all working fine, just a bit worn
