It ended up being our favourite hotel of our 2 week trip. We spent 5 days here and it was just about perfect. The room itself actually had some space to move around, had a great washroom/shower, beds were comfortable and it was situated on a beautiful little stream that has some beautiful birds stop by on our walks by. It’s also at the start of a lovely little laneway you can walk down lined with willow trees and the creek which lands you right near Yasaka Shrine. The hotel offers nightly drinks (alcoholic) and snacks (chips, candies, and more). The staff was attentive and welcoming. There is also complimentary coffee, flavoured water and some juices available all day. We lucked out with the top floor and being at the back of the hotel, facing the stream which gave us a nice view and tons of natural light/windows.
Because the hotel is so small, the breakfast is also sized accordingly. The eggs and sausage were a bit small and the croissants were cold from being in a fridge & less fresh tasting. We only paid for it for one morning thankfully as we found it a bit pricy for what it was.
