Located in West Pennington, this charming house for $213 per night is a great option for your next break. Enjoy a quiet location close to town and on paved road. This property sits on the Newton Fork of Spring Creek. The back patio is shaded most of the day giving you a great place to sit and enjoy the sound of the creek as it runs by you. Easily run into Hill City for dinner or groceries or stay home and grill next to the creek. Hop on the Mickelson Trail and walk or ride right to the famous 1880's train. A short car ride gets you to all of the major attractions including Mt Rushmore (20 minutes) & Crazy Horse (16 minutes) or go the other direction to Deerfield Lake for fishing and boating. This Cabin is located in the middle of all the major attractions most of them being less than 30 minutes away. If outdoor activity is more your style. There are 3 different lakes within 25 minutes or less, not to mention the gated access to the Mickelson Trail in the back yard. Giving you access to 107 miles of biking and walking. Hundreds of miles of ATV trails are surrounding this area. Less than a four mile drive gets you to ATV rentals and access to Horse back riding. We can't wait to share our place with you and hope you fall in love with it like we have.

My mom is 83 years old, and her sister is 79. Neither had been to Mount Rushmore, so it was on their bucket lists. My husband and I took them this year. The Creekside Cabin was fantastic. The location could not have been better - so conveniently located to so many beautiful things. The cabin was so clean and cute! We really enjoyed our stay.

My husband and me, our adult son and daughter in law, and their children (age 3 and 1) stayed together. It was the perfect set up for us - not fancy, but very comfortable and close to everything we wanted to see. During the days we went to all the sights, at night we relaxed by grilling dinner, cooking s’mores over the camp fire, and playing games. Thank you for a memorable vacation to beautiful South Dakota!!

The location was great, close to Hills city; the cabin was spotless, very clean, we did see deer grazing, that was great! The problem, one of the mattresses had a huge dip in it, I tried to fill it up using 2 pillows, sleeping was nearly impossible-I did speak to the owner and did let him know that a new mattress was necessary

Location was great, short distance from a great small town. Located right on the Mickelson Trail saw a nice bull elk and deer,but you should not advertise your place as a cabin when in fact it is a trailer.

The location is ideal for those exploring the Black Hills — close to all the attractions! And this home is set on a beautiful piece of property. The interior could use a few updates. It provided our family with plenty of space and the kitchen and baths were stocked well. However, we had difficulty using both showers (poor water pressure for women washing hair) and the mattress in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable.

This was a wonderful spot to stay for our 3 day weekend! The creek added so much to the quaint atmosphere. My kids loves the room with the bunk beds and all the games available to play. Every thing we needed was there and easy to find. Grill works great and came in handy for supper in. Being just outside hill city makes it a great location to go to many area sites. Highly recommend!

The space worked well for our family of four. We had enough room inside and space to play outside. We stayed a week over 4th of July. The house is about 0.75 miles outside of Hill City and a good jumping off spot for adventures. Check in was easy and the amenities were as described. Thanks for having us!

This was a very cute and comfortable cabin. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities. The property is easy to get to and very peaceful, private and relaxing. We loved our stay! We enjoyed the fire pit, the sound of the creek and even the covered patio during the rain showers.

My family and I really enjoyed this well stocked and conveniently located home. As a bonus, the National Forest boundary is a two minute walk from the back door. The living room is huge and we really enjoyed playing card games located in a nearby kitchen cabinet. We would definitely stay here again!

This little cabin is in a great location! It is no more than a 30 minute drive from all the things the black hills have to offer. We especially appreciated that this cabin had enough space for our family of 6! Brandon, the home owner was incredibly kind and hospitable! He is very easy to communicate with! For the price, this place can't be beat!

Property was clean and well stocked. Within driving distance to everything our family was looking to see. Large grassy lot with cute creek for the kids to play. The only complaint would be that the septic smelled. Otherwise would go back!

This place was perfect for us! Super convenient for all the sights and we really enjoyed spending time in Hill City! Very clean and comfortable place, and loved panning for gold in the creek! We will definitely not hesitate to stay here again when we return to the black hills!

Beautiful location...almost perfect

The locations was ideal. Loved the creek and the access to the Mickelson Trail. Also, very convenient, quick drive into Hill City if you want more touristy shops and restaurants. The owners were very easy to communicate with and made check in and out very easy. We loved visiting with friends on the back patio, and my kids loved having a field for soccer and Frisbee. The only knock was that the master bedroom could smell like septic at night...tip: make sure you close the windows before night time (and bring fans, as it can be hot). Also, if you're planning on using kitchen bring your own ice trays, pizza cutter, or anything else you know you'll need.

This property is very well kept, clean, & located in a quiet and beautiful area near Hill City. You are within close driving distance to lots of things to do in the Black Hills. The creek running through the property is beautiful. Loved grilling & eating outside. Owners are awesome with communication. Book with confidence!

The location of this property was great. The creek brought us hours of enjoyment. We loved making smores by the firepit. Deer crossed through the property multiple times throughout our stay. There was even a full propane for the grill which was wonderful for our cookout. Super close to so many amenities and activities while still creating a beautiful country atmosphere. Had a little trouble having enough hot water for all 4 of us, but we figured it out by staggering the showers and the rest of the property made up for it! Great communication from the owner as well. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! It was clean, well-decorated and easily accommodated six of us. The cabin is just two minutes from downtown Hill City and centrally located to all the local sights of interest. After a long day of sight-seeing, it was so nice to return to the quiet cabin. The owner was very helpful. We are so glad we chose "Dream by the Stream" to start our tour of three states.
