Really good restaurant and a very decent breakfast. Excellent bathroom with a walk-in shower way beyond expectations. Nice little terrace to the room.
It has to be said that the rooms at De Hollemersch are distinctly hostel-like with basic, uninspiring furniture and very narrow beds. This is mitigated by the high standard of the bathrooms and the idyllic location. Our experience of the staff was very mixed, the young man who served us in the restaurant was unfailingly welcoming and helpful, whereas the older staff member with whom we dealt on our arrival was dispiritingly off-hand and unsmiling.

Hollemeersch wordt gerund door een zeer hartelijke, lieve familie die gastvrijheid op nummer 1 heeft staan. We verbleven 1 nacht, hebben genoten van het heerlijke diner en de lunch op het terras met uitzicht over Noord Frankrijk. De faciliteiten voortreffelijk maar nogmaals - de vriendelijkheid van het personeel en de eigenaar maakten het dat we ons thuis voelden en we zeker terug komen. Kortom: aanrader.
