What a fantastic base for exploring the La Rioja wine region. This house is very spacious, well laid out and has a fantastic pool. We couldn't have been happier. It additionally also had a perfect view from the top floor of the Total Solar Eclipse. The house is also about a 20 minute walk to the main wine farms in the area, so you don't have to worry about getting tipsy and having to drive home.
It could do with a couple of portable air conditioner units. When we were there, it was 37 degrees celsius (99F). As all the bedrooms are on the same floor, you can't really keep your bedroom door open to create a breeze, so it was quite difficult at night time. Given the shutters on the windows, portable air con units with an exhaust pipe would work very well. Obviously the weather isn't always this hot, but as the summers are getting hotter and longer in Europe, it may be something to invest in.

It is a good sized property. We travelled as two families and there are enough rooms to accommodate everyone. The house was cool enough in the height of the summer using the shutters in the day time.
The pool is fantastic, you can really have a good swim in it.
The garden with its covered seating/dining area gives plenty of shaded outdoor space.
There is lots to like about the house and garden, it is our second time staying there and we hope to come again as we have family in Haro.
Some of the garden furniture has been replaced from last year, which is good, but there are still some chairs that have become quite brittle in the heat and may collapse at anytime. I think replacing the remaining old furniture would be a good idea.

Tiled area between the pool & patio needs some work to avoid tripping hazards. Also, being Irish, we would have liked a kettle;-)

Estaba muy sucia llena de polvo, cuando llegamos tuvimos q limpiar los servicios q estaban sin hacer llenos de pelos de clientes anteriores
