We booked within 15 minutes of arriving and caught the manager slightly by surprise. But he was nothing but helpful in getting us in and getting our room ready. They've only just taken over the pub. The rooms are basic but very clean and it was incredibly good value for money.
There was plenty of room to store our bikes, and it's only a short hop into Scarborough, even if it's quite hard pedalling.

Room size was adequate and the bed was comfortable.
I did not check that breakfast was included when I booked. I thought I had put into the bookings.com criteria.
Other issue was I expected the room to be ensure so was very disappointed that had to go down the corridor for shared bathroom.

Clean beds. Quiet location
No one was there. We arrived at 3pm to check in. The pub was closed and no sign of anyone. Luckily a cleaner appeared out of the pub and was very helpful. Rang the manager and managed to get us in. Never saw anyone else after that no one ever answered our messages asking where they were.
