A lovely historic hotel stylishly remodeled and comfortable. We loved the Tezontle restaurant, the welcome cocktail, the Hernan Cortez, the morning breakfast as well as the welcoming staff… especially Laura at the front desk, always with a smile as we arrived back at the end of the day.
Congestion in front of the hotel but then Mexico City is just that way especially in the downtown area

The hotel is close to the historic district and only 15-20 minutes from the airport. The Centro Historico (e.g. Zocalo, Templo Mayor, cathedral) is within walking distance. Approximately, 20-30 mins drive (by taxi) to the Roma Norte and Condesa neighborhoods depending on traffic. Metro is also accessible and is a good alternative.
This hotel is an ideal location for holidays and especially if it is your first visit to CDMX with its central location. The WiFi did not work as well but we did not mind this as much as we were on holiday (not a working trip) so this is something to consider if traveling on business and a more reliable internet connection is necessary.

Location was excellent, staff were super helpful and friendly, and our room (Superior Suite) was spacious and had all facilities, breakfast was great. We were able to do a lot in our four days as everything was super easy to walk to.
A thin curtain on the window would be great as an option to use. And a kettle for making tea.

Beautiful architectural features, staff is exceptional and friendly. Room was spacious and the bathroom products were excellent!
Noise from the small park in front of the hotel can be quite loud at times especially from my room.
