Great location. Beautiful interior. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Don't forget to try to rooftop restaurant - the view is great.

It was a great hotel. The staff was nice and helpful.
4.0
It is a nice hotel. Spacious rooms. Conveniently located in historical center. But no taxis will be allowed to enter to the hotel door as the road to it is always closed. This is fine if you don’t have luggage ( 100 meters of walk). All demonstrations happen in that area, so the closure maybe more than one road. The carpets needs deep cleaning. Beds are comfortable. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast food is not good. I don’t mind coming back

Great stay in a picturesque hotel. Staff excellent and very attentive, they prepared a welcome/celebration drink as we got engaged the day we arrived!
Eco friendliness average - no obvious option to opt out of room clean or towel change, and generally high stars hotels are excessive (but that’s what you expect!).
Breakfast on the rooftop was great - wouldn’t have had it if it wasn’t for the 40% discount from Hotels.com gold membership though (it’s expensive compared to other places in the area).
Would generally say that Roma is a better region to stay in with more going on, but for a couple of nights this hotel is an excellent treat.

What a beautiful hotel and it was magical. It's very quaint and the restaurant that overlooks the courtyard is spectacular. Not to be missed.

Our stay was amazing. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Perfect location.

We loved every minute. The Doormen greeted us like family, coming and going. Having a drink or meal on the spectacular rooftop terrace was a fabulous option. The unstaffed “treat room” I will call it, was lovely. Walking to great museums is terrific. And who knew 007 loved it to in “Spectre”

I am so glad I decided to stay here. As soon as you walk in, you are amazed by how beautiful it is. Everything was perfect from when I checked in until I checked out. It was magical and I may have even cried a little when I had to leave.
Oh, I forgot to mention the rooms. Very clean, I am on a budget, so I didn’t get a city view, but it was worth every single penny.

This was my go to hotel back in the 80s and 90s when I visited Mexico City. It was a spectacle then with the ceiling (which escaped damage in the 1985 earthquake) and the “bird cage” elevators but a bit worn. Well in the 30+ years since my last visit, the hotel has become absolutely stunning. The service is fabulous - we were treated to glasses of champagne as we checked in, then we were whisked off to our room with our luggage. We enjoyed our evening at the terrace restaurant/bar overlooking the zocalo. Have the shrimp tortilla soup - the flavor was only outdone by the presentation. Comfortable extra large bed and pillows allowed for a good night’s sleep. In the morning we enjoyed an excellent breakfast - room service - while we watched a protest gather on the square below our room. Truly exquisite.

We only stayed one night but it was great overall. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great. Lots to do. And it felt safe. I would stay here again if I ever come back.

The staff are gracious and helpful. The restaurant Terrace is pretty awful. My main meal I had one bite and that’s all - came out cold, a hot sauce that had no flavor, just heat, and so tough could hardly cut it. My husband’s pasta dish equally bad and made him sick.

We loved the friendly staff, huge, quiet room, ease of having to walk down the hall to a very good restaurant with a great view of the Zocalo. Nice amenities in the room, also printed our boarding pass in the offices there. Every time we left our room we just marveled at the beautiful ceiling and the overall beauty of the hotel.
Only negative, which is out of the control of the hotel, is that the roads are closed to Ubers picking you up at the door but we only had to walk a block or two to meet them. I believe the hotel has a taxi company that can pick up at the door, but we didn't use them. Highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful historical hotel in the heart of Centro Historical. The staff was so wonderful and we enjoyed being right on the Zocalo. We felt very safe and well taken care of. The Terraza restaurant was a lovely spot for the end of the evening to enjoy a glass of wine or hot chocolate. We liked the lounge where you could get coffee, tea and snacks at anytime. We would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Stunning hotel. We love staying in older properties. This hotel did not dissapoint. Entire staff were very attentive to our every need. Food and drinks were great on the upper floor. Room was beautiful with a view of the Zocalo. The Zocalo is known for demonstrations, but during our stay it was pretty quiet.
