Really lovely room with private loo/shower but with a hostel, so cooking facilities and pool. More like a boutique hotel- amazing view of the nearby snow topped volcano from the kitchen/flat roof upstairs. A short walk to the centre where all the shops/restaurants and tour providers are located. Quiet and feels very safe. Room cleaned elderly well everyday. Lovely staff cleaning/running the place.

A toast to the lovely and patient girls, Cecilia and Lizeth, at Hostal Lackuntur.
We had quite some issues with JetSmart (believe me it is Not smart to fly with them) and so our arrival was postponed several times within one day with us finally checking in just before 11PM. But we were ensured all day that there would be someone waiting and that all is fine and such was exactly the case.
We had a lovely stay at Hostal Lackuntur and all our requests (e.g. different pillow) were greeted and handled with a bright and honest smile. Communication via translator also worked perfectly and with lots of laughs.
We had tours every single day so we were not really able to enjoy the pool, but it looks all perfect. Plenty of chairs and space. Also the community room is very nice.

Close to downtown. Pool area was alright
Staff weren’t the best. Wouldn’t accept my USD bill because of a tiny cut then tried to give me one they wouldn’t have accepted. Would let me pay in CLP but gave the rest back in CLP instead of USD
