Close to the grocery store and some restaurants.

So many negative comments about this property - save yourself the headache and book elsewhere. First off, I had booked 3 nights for my family of 8 people from Aug 21-24 on booking.com. After finalizing the booking, I then realized that I needed to book one more night to accommodate my cruise schedule. I requested to add an additional night to my stay, to which the host, Mario, replied that the apartment is available and confirmed my booking for Aug 20-24. This was confirmed on July 14, and again on July 19. On August 8, the day before our scheduled flight to Europe, Mario messaged me and said that his "boss" never booked our additional night. I had to rush and find a place to stay for my family for that one night - it was a huge hassle considering it was so last minute and it was during peak summer holidays. Not to mention that Mario had confirmed these dates almost one month prior. After checking out of our first hotel in Venice, we arranged for one of Mario's colleagues to meet us at his property. My family and I (including my 77 year old mother and my infant granddaughter) sat outside in the blistering heat with all our luggage because the lady was more than an hour late. One of the reasons we booked this property was because the listing said it had a washing machine. We had been travelling for quite some time and wanted a place to refresh our clothes. When we got there, the lady told us that the previous occupants broke the handle to the machine, so it wasn't functional. This would have been a great opportunity for Mario to offer some sort of compensation for this, as it was a prime amenity in the listing.

The location was great! 20 min walk to main attractions!

Some parts of the ceiling on 2nd floor is low, it was fine for kids but I would caution.

The location was perfect .

Bathroom could do with updating, better shower curtain and the shower needs replacing.

Location was perfect and place was charming.

The bathrooms were old. Only one shower (the other bathroom has a bathtub with no glass or curtain). One of the showers got blocked after a night's rain and we couldn't use it.

The location was wonderful, quiet yet central. Hosts were attentive and helpful.

I didn't realise upon booking that the largest bedroom was not normal height (converted attic space) and up an interior staircase that was windy and tight. I had to sleep up there with my young children so they could safely access the bathroom at night which was downstairs. I often hit my head on the exposed beams.

Great location, two bathrooms. Apartment has everything you need to prepare and serve food.

Very low ceiling upstairs.

The host was a very kind girl, who was responding promptly to everything we were asking her about VENICE. It was really helpful and made our stay more pleasant. Moreover the house is placed centrally and 1min from the San Angelo.

The disadvantage of the house was that the one room was very low and we kept hitting the rafters. The 2nd bathroom was also far from this room. The house was not so comfortable for 6 persons as we expected.
