Beautifly restored Venetian apartment in a good central location. Presumably Murano glass chandeliers in each room. 3 bathrooms. Very unusual for building hundreds of years old. Each room had A/C, very welcome for the heatwave that never seemed to leave.
2nd floor apartment required navigating 3 flights of very steep stairs. Our group of 70 year olds struggled with luggage and there was no one around to assist. Horrible experience.

The property has a lot of rooms and we could keep each one’s privacy even during the stay! All the rooms are clean and nice.
The water in the bathtub was not hot enough so we gave up using it.

Location: very good, 3min walk to Palazzo Grassi and the San Samuele vaporetto
Space: very very large apartment with 3BR, 3 baths (only 2 usable).
1) Building entrance in a state of decay and disrepair. Signs of extensive water damage, dust and debris, smell of rotting wood, even a large rat inside the lobby.
2) One of the bathrooms was unusable, with sewer gas and unsanitary sewer flies coming from shower floor drain. Interestingly, at check-in that door was the only room closed (all other room doors open), and there were plug-in air fresheners left on the floor, perhaps by previous guests. There was no response from owner or owner’s agent when alerted to the obvious plumbing problem. All indicating that they are aware of the problem, but ignoring it
