The cottage was so warm and comfortable. There are cameras set up around the farm and you can see loads of wildlife. Loads of lovely walks and days out nearby. Owners Jill and John are delightful.
Chose it because of its dark sky status but the weather had other plans! Had one night where we saw loads of stars

Large cottage in beautiful surroundings. Remote setting with walks a short drive away. Loved the wildlife cameras streaming straight to the TV! Lovely welcome from John, who obviously works hard looking after his property, animals and wildlife.
Would maybe benefit from being redecorated and the double bed was a little hard for us - but you can't please everyone where taste and preference is concerned 😊

John & Jill were great hosts, cottage is very homely, warm, log fire is wonderful and wildlife cameras added bonus.
Oven door temperamental, glass kept coming out and cream carpet was a nightmare to keep clean with the dog.

Lovely, well equipped cottage that was surprisingly big inside.
It was very peaceful and warm.
The hosts were great.
It was a little further from any pubs and shops than we first thought but we took plenty of food so were well prepared.
