Wildlife cameras are a wonderful addition and wildlife is plentiful.
House is well equipped for wet and dry weather - helpful extras in pantry and handy washer/dryer/dishwasher/vacuum, and plenty of entertainment in the house if it's wet.
Beautiful location - stunning scenery and very quiet.
Very friendly and helpful hosts.
Easy to find and near to lovely walks and drives.
Secure garden for dogs with plenty of beautiful walking nearby if you have sturdy footwear.
Soft bed and a very hot house - this could be a matter of personal taste though, and the owners were helpful in advising how to manage the heating.

Rowan Cottage is in a idyllic location to explore the surrounding Kielder landscape. The property is immaculately presented and the warmth of the hosts reception upon arrival is second to none. Absolutely everything is provided for and the wildlife cams are a complete bonus.
There was nothing about Rowan Cottage to dislike
