I couldn’t give this hotel enough praise! It was by far the best experience and the best breakfast we have had on our whole trip through Uzbekistan. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the facilities are new and well taken care of, and the included breakfast is truly worth it. Oh… and the view: it stands right next to the Registan, so you can have coffee with a breathtaking view from their terrace, absolutely surreal! Very good value and a great option for your stay in Samarkand.
Nothing really, it was a very pleasant experience in overall. The hotel exceeded our expectations and the breakfast was superb. I woult recommend it to any other travelers, be it with a partner/spouse or group. The best thing about it is the location!

so many dishes for breakfast but none kept hot as burners under dishes not lit - lovely restaurant staff though

Rooftop and location were quite nice, but there are many places nearby with similar views and amenities. We stayed in the brand new building of rooms.
Our room was new but had issues that were not appreciated. Our shower door seals were curled and water pooled all over the floor - dangerously slippery. The cabinet under the sink had water leaking out of it. When we opened the cabinet, we found a large plastic container that was placed there to collect the water condensation from the air conditioning and it had overflowed. We had to dump it a few times to keep it from making a mess. The shampoo, conditioner & body wash containers were completely empty. The next day, they were refilled, but not with conditioner. Without the key in the slot, none of our outlets would work and certainly not the air conditioning. Our kids’ room next door did not have these issues. We were also required to pay for both nights for both rooms in CASH in order the check in. The rate was quite high considering all of the issues.
