Good place but food is not great

Peaceful and tranquil

Calm and nature based location.. Staff were very supportive, flexible genuine and not forceful on any timebound thing such as breakfast, checking out etc. Very well designed facility for a peaceful stay. The sea water front is safe to have a dip due to the break water barrier hence children and swim safely.

Wi fi password could have been displayed or given as a printed matter rather than giving a QR code. Suggest providing a few more complementary drinking water bottles for family stays.

Lovely place with lots of potential just not there yet.

We had a top floor room with a sea view and it was a lovely room being large and bright with a great balcony. The location was right on the beach with a lagoon where the fish man are.

We rocked up having booked as we entered the property due to a last min change of plan but it was 4pm and it took an hour for our room to be made ready. We got taken to an inside restaurant which was quite miserable so we left and went for a walk. There seemed to be some disconnectedness between the staff. Breakfast was cold curry which we didn’t request so I had to ask for a western breakfast. They seemed to have a lovely upstairs restaurant with sea view rooms but we got taken back to the miserable indoor restaurant.

Great location, terrible service and food

The location, pool and proximity to the beach are great. Our rooms were nice and comfortable with aircon and a mini bar which helped a lot in the blistering SL heat.

For such a nice property, the service and food were terrible. Our rooms were not ready for quite a while and even then weren't as booked. We had no toilet paper and when requesting for some we were handed a few pieces. The manager was kind but seemed more worried about his coin collection and getting some foreign currency from us than the happiness of his clients. We were phoned at 7h30 for breakfast options but then never received a menu. When we finally did have breakfast the food was terrible - we only got an egg each (which was undercooked), dry toast (and only one slice each which after we asked were told was all there was available). The cutlery was dirty and our coffee cups had lip marks on them.

Excellent service but poorly maintained

It's a mixed review for this place. The staff Mr.Raj was really very helpful and trying his best to please us and make us comfortable. But unfortunately there was some issue with the water pressure in the bathrooms and we had trouble there. Also the seaview from the room is excellent but not a celan beach if you wanna take a dip as there were fishing boats in and out.

Peaceful, relaxing and calming.

The place and the staff were wonderful. The food was in abundance and both chefs did a fantastic job. Tiran kept the room beautifully clean and his gorgeous floral and towel arrangements on the beds was extremely thoughtful and professional. It’s those extra touches that makes your stay memorable. There was nothing we could fault about our stay and we will come again.

Signage. There needs to be way more signs beginning from the main road. The reception drops out in places so you can’t look at maps to find your way. It’s unfortunate a harbour is being built out the front.

Proper beach access and peaceful beach

access to beach was excellent. the beach in front of the hotel is safe. it wasn’t crowded with tourists and therefore peaceful like sri lankan beaches from old magazines. there are rocky outcrops towards north and they house some pretty awesome rock pools which are teeming with marine life. hotel is very new so facilities are in very good condition. bathrooms have a small design flaw they said they gonna fix it soon(you cannot shower without soaking the paper roll.) wifi- youtube worked fine. food- breakfast buffet was very good. dinner not the best but good. dinner was a la carte. and their welcome drink was fresh watermelon juice. cleanliness- rooms, restaurant, pool and even th beach was very clean. staff- new and motivated, a very pleasant lot.

not exactly negative points but things you should know property is about 4kilometers away from th main A2 road. tuk tuks were there though (200 LKR) there’s no other restaurants around, only few more hotels. therefore the prices are bit high at the resort.

Excellent beach front location with very attentive & friendly staff

This hotel is newly opened (I think less than 3 months open) and the staff are amazing. It was a special occasion and they upgraded and decorated our room, even bringing out a customised a dessert as a surprise. We couldn’t rate the staff higher, well done and keep up the hard work. Every morning we had a beautiful sunrise from our balcony, which was such a treat. The hotel is ideally located at the end of a long coved beach that has to be one of the nicest and most peaceful beaches around (I could count on my hands the number of people I saw on the 3km paradise stretch). The waves are quite rough so I wouldn’t recommend none strong swimmers going out of their depth, particularly given the beach is very quite and as such does not have a life guard. The hotel also has a nice pool which makes for a refreshing post beach swim. Would recommend this for other travellers looking to experience great hospitality and an unspoilt beach.

As is common with a lot of hotels in Sri Lanka, the shower water was luke warm but this actually quite refreshing after a hot day at the beach.

A little bit of paradise

The hotel is in an exceptional location with beautiful beach that is very quiet and clean the rooms are both spacious and well equipped with good a/c WiFi was good most of the time with very few drop outs good sea view from balcony with table and chairs,large swimming pool with plenty of sun beds,really excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and best of all is all the staff who look after you and really make this place special if you want to go out for dinner you’ll have to take a tuk tuk but meals at hotel are good with everything made from scratch they also offer tour’s so thanks to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so special Sandra and Ian
