The accommodation was walking distance to the main town and the Quay. The breakfast was a table service but has a good selection of food. Very friendly host. The house was shared with the host, and her family. Which was great especially when problem arises with other guest in the next room.
There was no bar fridge in the room to keep your food. The sound of the shower heater makes a humming noise that disturbs the other guest. This is very common with shower heating unit, and the host cannot do anything about it. The host should provide a little note warning guest regarding the noise.

What a wonderful place to stay and just a five-minute walk from the restaurants and shops that make up the Salthill area of Galway! We had a beautiful room, a comfortable bed, an amazing offering for breakfast, and a gracious host (George)! As far as customer service and warm hospitality, they are the gold standard in our book!

We visited 2 years ago and stayed too far away from city. This was so convenient to leave car parked and walk to pubs and restaurants. George was great with local recommendations and breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed great conversation with both in keepers We will be back if we visit again

Just so you know it’s someone’s home all you get is a small bedroom with a small ensuite. 10 minute walk to city center. The breakfast was good. The host is very helpful and knowledgeable about the city and surrounding area.
No soap provided. Have no common area except for breakfast time.
