Amazing hostel, I have traveled a lot and stayed in many hostels around the world, and it’s fascinating that the best hostel experience I’ve ever had was actually in my own country. The staff are genuinely the best — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The owner of the hostel is also extremely kind, respectful, and professional. They truly made me feel at home, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing stay.

Location is convenient to several restaurants and within an easy walk of the Egyptian Museum. Staff were pleasant and helpful and seemed to go out of their way to please us including booking tours, accepting payment for such and making sure we were met by drivers they arranged and assisting with Uber pick ups. Laundry service is available and inexpensive. Breakfast was plentiful and the menu varied slightly. Kareem was especially helpful prior to our arrival and during our stay.
The elevator! The hostel is on the 10th floor accessed by an entrance that was questionable. The elevator was not clean. It was scary after dark and other people (on various floors) often left the door open when exiting which meant it was non operational on more than one occasion. Twice we were charged extra by Uber because we had to walk down 10 flights of stairs to reach the external door and we were late for pick up. The common areas in the hostel were not air conditioned; windows were open and flies were a nuisance. Although it is touted as a non-smoking facility, some staff and guests smoked in the area adjacent to the elevator. The main refrigerator did not work, contained spoiled items and smelled.
