Located in Tybee Island, this lovely house for $458 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Welcome to one of the best homes on Tybee!! Features a pool cover that allows parents to never worry about pool safety while on vacation! Property address - 1212 Miller Ave, Tybee Island, GA, 31328 This beautiful new construction home named “Sandy Feet Retreat” is located just a few blocks from Downtown Tybee, the islands only grocery store(IGA)...and of course... the beach!! The home features an electric/covered pool that will allow parents to truly relax knowing their child is safe at all times!!!! ***Check out the uploaded YouTube video*** or type “Automatic Covered Pool - Tybee” into YouTube’s search engine. Pool dimensions are 12 feet by 20 feet. Sun-ledge, 4 inch shadow end, for the kiddos to splash in the first 3 feet of the pool! Pool progresses in depth, after this ledge, from three feet deep to a maximum of 5 feet 10 inches. Pool can be heated for an additional cost of $50 per night. Please note that it is a heated pool, not a hot tub. We heat the pool to the industry standard of 85 degrees. We will do our best to heat the pool to 85, but if temperatures drop below 50, heating challenges can occur. **Pool cover must me closed when not in use to ensure heated temperature is maintained properly.** *Contact Owner with any questions* The home is a four bedroom/three and a half bath home with all the amenities a family could ask for. The homes layout: Level one, or underneath the home, consists of a fenced-in large play area with many games/entertainment items to keep things fun!! A large 55 inch Smart TV, ping-pong table, corn-hole boards, extra fridge, dart board, gas grill(propane provided), and a large 8 person table are just a few of the entertainment items provided. This is the level that kids will LOVE!! Level two consists of the master bedroom, fully stocked kitchen, large living area, walkout screened porch, dining room and the laundry room. The master is equipped with a king bed, 55 inch Smart TV, large master bath with walk in shower, soaker tub, and a large master closet. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for your stay. Coffee maker, blender, pots/pans, etc... Four counter barstools for additional seating at the bar/countertop. The dining room consists of an 8 person farm table for all to gather....speaking of an 8 person farm table...one will also be available on the front porch for gatherings along with a conversation seating area. The living room consists of two large couches, and 4 arm chairs. Plenty of seating for a large family/group! There is a half bath that is off the living room for easy access. Level three consists of three bedrooms and two baths. One bathroom consist of a tub shower, and the second a walk in shower. Both bathrooms upstairs are connected to bedrooms for added privacy. Bedroom one will have a queen bed. Bedroom two will have a king bed with an additional trundle that will convert into another king bed. Bedroom three will have a queen bed with another pull trundle that will also convert into a king bed. All bedrooms will be equipped with smart TV's so you can stream your favorite shows/movies through your personal account! Beach towels, beach tent, beach cart, and several beach chairs are provided!!! Polywood furniture on the pool deck for plenty of seating and long lasting durability. The home is also equipped with a Nest keyless entry system, so need to hassle with keys. Each guest is provided a unique code the day prior to their arrival. Simple and easy! Sandy Feet Retreat truly has it all!!! It is highly recommend that guests purchase additional travel insurance to protect their stay in the event they need to cancel. Private travel insurance can be purchased at Travelinsurance.com or similar sights. Refunds or credits for future stays will only be provided when the island is closed to short term vacation rentals. We loved our trip to Tybee Island and the house was outstanding, perfect for our family and guests. Rooms were super spacious and living spaces were perfect for large groups. We even had Chef Chris Litts with The Curated Chefs prepare multiple meals while we rented the vacation house. Chef Chris's complete package included selecting the food with allergies in mind, cooking and the best, finishing with cleanup. His vast experiences in Napa at high end restaurants was evident, a true culinary experience! The services don't come with the house, but if you don't want to cook, this is an option. There was a grill for us to use which was perfect on the days we cooked ourselves.
The house itself was fully stocked with items needed for our entire stay (i.e. beach towels, laundry detergent, beach toys and chairs, wagon, etc.). The small pool was great for relaxing and the kids loved it after the beach. Bring bug spray. The screened in porch was a bonus. A quick shower outside was a great way to rinse off after the beach as well. The downstairs was full of games, darts and ping pong. The owners were fantastic, quick to respond to any issue we had, which were just a couple of very minor things. The beach was a short walking distance and the house AC worked fantastic, especially with 90+degrees in August. The house was super clean, very warm and inviting with TVs in every room.The kids loved that. Wifi was great with no issues. Will return again, thanks!

Great, clean, well-appointed property, just like pictured. We had plenty of room for 9 adults, really enjoyed the wide open kitchen/living area and the downstairs eating/gaming area open to the pool. Location was great, convenient to all Tybee beaches and just short drive into Savannah. Host was very accommodating and instructions on how to use everything at the house were really clear. Highly recommend this property and would stay again when we visit the area next time.

Had a wonderful time with my family. Stayed for 5 nights and we cooked brunch everyday. The house is equipped with everything you need to cook a meal. Location is great. Within walking distance to beach and grocery store. The pool is a great addition!!

We had a great trip! We loved all the beds, baths and space. The pool was amazing. This house was close to beaches, restaurants and nightlife. We would definitely recommend it to a family member or friend and we would consider staying here again. Mr. Bigwood was a great host and was great with the communication throughout the process.

The house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and dining in.The location was great. We were able to walk to restaurants and having the market close was very convenient. The home owner was very quick to respond to questions and very easy to rent from.

Overall we had a great time! Just some small issues in the house. I would suggest a wine opener, new can opener (didn't work), batteries (AAA) for remotes, more than one dish towel, some kind of storage containers for leftovers, or baggies, scissors, fly swatter, and some scrap paper.

We had the best time during our stay and the house was great! It was perfectly located on Tybee, about 4-5 block from the main strip so it is a bit more secluded, but very easily walkable to any spot we wanted to go on the island. There are also plenty of rentable bikes/golf carts on the island to help you get around. It is the perfect distance from Savannah, about 30 minutes to and from if there is no traffic. It was nice to be able to have a beach day, a pool day at the house and 2 days visiting Savannah. It made the trip perfect for all ages with something to do for everyone. The house was exactly as advertised and the living space/outdoor front patio was a great hangout space for a group of 8-12. It was nice that the front patio was screened in to keep out bugs as well. The pool got sun at the perfect time (11-4) and was a great hangout space when the island was busier on the weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back to the area!

We stayed here during our family vacation! It was very clean and had so many amenities. Pool, toys for the beach & a wagon to take with us, as well as high chair, and travel crib! Plus, there there plenty of games to play on the lowest level, corn hole, darts, ping pong, and bocce ball! This is a great vacation home! We will definitely rent again!

We had 10 adults stay comfortably here. The under the house outside area was amazing. The pool was perfect. We loved eating at the outside screened in porch. Everyone enjoyed their time and had enough space to spread out. The host communicated quickly.

The property was beautiful. It was well equipped. Appreciated that there were sufficient dishwashing tabs, detergent and cleaning products that we did not have to buy any of these things. Salt, pepper and some basic spices were available for use. All the bathrooms had basic toiletries and enough toilet paper to last our stay. I know these seem like little things, but it made the stay easy. We do a lot of VRBO and often the time is complicated by what we need and don’t have. We had none of those moments during our 4 nights in Tybee. Another big plus was the pool area. We usually will ask for the pool to be heated, but end up disappointed when it takes the whole stay to get to a swimmable point. This pool, maybe because of a very slick cover, was useable the entire stay. It was not bath water warm, but warm enough that me and the grand kids got in a swim every day. Tybee is a great beach town. It felt very safe. We walked just about every where. There are many other positives to this property. I can highly recommend it!

We rented this property for a girls long weekend and it was wonderful! The house was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The outdoor area and pool were great as well. Perfect location. It really had everything we needed. We did have an issue with the washing machine but the owner was very responsive.

Overall, we enjoyed our visit. Could walk to beach but we rented a golf care to help with our grandkids. pool was great but we had to buy products to kill mosquitoes. On one side the garage door doesn’t work. Plenty of seating for our family meals was a plus.
owner needs to invest in new pots and pans as the teflon was scraped off and one wears burnt on the bottom. The constructive criticism was only given to help the owner as we truly had a wonderful family vacation in this house and at Tybee Island

Fantastic stay at this beautiful home with everything you need for your vacation stay. The owners attention to detail is amazing. Communication with the owner could not have been any better—very prompt replies with any questions and offered many great resources for dining and things to do. Upon arrival you know without a doubt that the owner has gone to great efforts to make this your home away from home! So many places to spread out in the house but we seemed to congregate around the pool—which has a fantastic ledge to sit on to stay cool and to just soak up the sun! The lower level kept us very entertained playing ping pong, darts and corn hole! The location is great and being so close to the only grocery store was a very big plus! Location in general was great—short walking distance to many eateries, shops and the beach! This house has it all! We did not want to leave and I know for certain we will be back—I’d recommend this as a MUST stay if considering Tybee! Thankful for every bit of it!!
