Clean, quiet, comfortable, and close to Lassen NP. The restaurant across the street was great, I recommend the Beast Burger.

Clean rooms and updated, staff was friendly. Has a restaurant within walking distance on property and also has a more expensive restaurant across the road. Close to Lassen Volcanic National Park. We had a low tire in the morning and the maintenance man filled our tire to get us to a repair shop in town.

The location, in its own private valley by a beautiful meadows, close to Lassen entrance is excellent. The room in Child's Meadow was clean and well-decorated, comfortable and quiet at night. Many people seemed to enjoy sitting outside their rooms in the evenings. I loved the restaurant and bar, especially the outdoor terrace area, and the food was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed Frank's bistro -- excellent breakfast burrito. This is my second visit and I will be back again!
There does seem to be a shop selling useful basic things but it was almost never open! Even an hour or two a day at specific times would help to get basics (otherwise its a bit of a drive to Mineral General Store). Also, the rooms could have used a little bit more furniture e.g. a simple chest of drawers. But these are very minor points.
