Stefan was incredibly kind and helpful. He really went out of his way to accommodate everything I asked for and kept checking to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. He even lent me a beach umbrella for free, which made it so much easier to relax by the sea!
There was also a total solar eclipse while I was there, and I was really sad because I didn’t have eclipse glasses and thought I wouldn’t be able to see it. But Stefan managed to find some glasses for me, so thanks to him I got to experience the eclipse!
The location of the accommodation is excellent. You can walk to the restaurants, the beach, and pretty much everywhere you need to go. At the same time, it’s very quiet at night, so I was able to sleep without being disturbed. I also felt very safe and comfortable as all the guests were women.
If I visit Lagos again, I would definitely stay here again!

This hostel is quiet, but is affiliated with the hostel across the street that has sangria nights etc, so it’s good if you want the option to party and/ or have peace. Overall fine facilities.
I enjoyed this hostel, but it is quirky and is not for everyone. Do read reviews and look at pictures before you book. Only 2 bathrooms for everyone.

It’s in the middle of town, a 10 minute walk from anything you need. Beach included
Small room for 6 people, but if you’re there just to sleep it shouldn’t matter. I thought it was cozy!

The location was perfect and all the common spaces were very clean and nicely decorated
The house and the bedroom were really small, plus the room (without air conditioning) was extremely hot and a bit suffocating. Also, the house is not soundproofed.
