The accommodation was practically in the city center. I booked a room with a balcony, so I could put my things to dry after swimming. The accommodation has everything you need, from a shared kitchen and living room on the ground floor, while on my floor there was only one other room and a shared bathroom for those two rooms. So the shared bathroom was not a problem at all. It felt like it was yours. The room has enough space, the closet is large and spacious, it also has a small fridge and everything you need for a summer in a seaside city. Around the corner (literally) is the best specialty coffee DOT and a place with bagels Pom Pom. Restaurants are a maximum of 10 minutes walk, and beaches and the famous rock formation Ponta da Piedade are up to 30 minutes walk.
The only problem I had was the towels, which were not very fresh, as if they were stale, although at my request they immediately replaced them with new ones, which were not an a extra upgrade, but better than what I received. And I have the feeling that they were a little offended by my complaint, but it was well-intentioned, since you are running a rental apartment.
When the room's balcony is closed during the day (as they recommend), the room has a musty smell, but it airs out quickly, so it might bother some people, but it wasn't a big problem for me.

Location is fantastic but pay attention to the parking note (you need to park somewhere out of Centro)
The marble stairs make every noise amplified so people coming and going sounds way louder than what it would elsewhere - not great for light sleepers

Die Lage war sehr zentral, Klimaanlage, Balkon
Es war extrem laut, da eine Bar auf der Straße ist, wo täglich bis 5:00h morgens laut gefeiert wird, es war nicht sehr sauber (die Teppiche waren sehr alt und fleckig, die Schränke haben sehr alt gerochen, die Handtücher hatten Löcher und Flecken, der Kühlschrank roch)
