My experience at the hotel was incredible. The room was super spacious, the accommodation was very close to the beach, and the staff were extremely friendly. They even lent us beach umbrellas. I would definitely stay here again in the future. Many thanks to Diogo!

Great location in the heart of the old town. Just 10-15 min walk from the beach and bus station, 20 mins from the train station. Lots of great bars and restaurants nearby. Rooms were basic but cool and comfortable. Communal spaces were clean and tidy. Staff were super friendly and welcoming.
Noise levels aren’t as bad as what the negative reviews say. We stayed on the weekend and there was only a bit of foot traffic outside - you can’t hear the bars nearby or anything.

Very good location. Nice staff. Big room, bid bed and lots of storage. Decor internally is nice.
The place is a bit rundown, and some fixes are needed.
The shared kitchen is outdoor in direct sunlight and I did not feel comfortable using it.
The bedroom window opened out onto the outdoor common area, where people can smoke. Also, it's not good for privacy.
One of the two male toilets was clogged during my stay, and it took two days to fix. Thankfully, the hostel was not busy. The shower was poor, too. There was no soap by the sink.
Generally, the water pressure is poor.
There was a dog somewhere nearby barking every few seconds for almost the whole night, each of the three nights I was there. This is not the fault of the management, but good to keep in mind before booking.
