Nestled in Lake Almanor, this charming cabin for $614 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Beautiful lakefront cabin with stunning 180 degree unobstructed views. Enjoy the lush lawn leading to the water's edge and your own private dock. Dock sits in extremely deep water and is perfect for your boat, swimming, and fishing. Two private buoys. Enjoy all types of water sports, including boating, wake boarding, tubing, jet skis, kayaking, paddle boarding, you name it! South facing 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin sleeps 8, and the large lakeside deck has been recently refinished and equipped with a new dining table w/ seating for eight and a cozy fire pit chat set. The cabin is immaculately kept and well stocked. Brand new flooring/carpet/rugs throughout entire cabin! Enjoy wireless internet, cable television, a multi zone SONOS sound system. New bed linens and fresh towels throughout. The granite counter top kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities, and features an oven/range with 5 gas burners, refrigerator with ice maker, and dishwasher. Outdoor gas grill. Our kitchen has everything you'll need to make a gourmet meal after a long day on the lake. This is our dream vacation home, and we want it to be yours too, so we make every effort to make sure you have what you need for a relaxing vacation by the lake. Located one mile from the Red Onion Grill, Tantardino's Pizzeria, and the Peninsula Market. Located about 10 minutes from the town of Chester. Some fun things to do during your stay at Lake Almanor: Fishing for trout, salmon and smallmouth bass Endless water sports! Golfing Bike the Lake Almanor Recreation Trail Hike to Indian Falls Visit the Lassen Volcanic National Park Ride horses in the Caribou Wilderness Kayaks and paddle boards are available for a reasonable additional fee. Please inquire with owner. *Our home does not have central heat and air. The home is heated by a wood burning stove or propane heater in the family room that comfortably heats the entire home. Cooling provided by ceiling fans, mother nature, and the lake!

We just stayed at what may be heaven on earth.
The house is a perfect mix of mountain charm and modern touches. Perfect location to all local amenities and what a view to wake up to every morning. The expansive deck is great for coffee or dinner. You don’t need to leave the house!

This property is amazing. The host is very caring evidenced not only by the thoughtful details throughout the house, but also by her personal outreach. The home is well appointed and very clean and comfortable. The property itself is gorgeous and well-suited for anyone who likes fishing and water activities - or just sitting and taking in the beauty. I do not hesitate recommending this property. I am grateful to the host for all she does to make for a seamless and restful experience. We hope to return!

Beautiful cabin with gorgeous views of the lake. The boat dock was excellent for our jet skis and would be great for a boat as well. Ashli, the owner was so accommodating and available for questions. Would highly recommend this vacation rental!

Your property is lovely and decorated perfectly, warm feeling , lovely deck , fire pit and table on the deck and great place for our family gathering and we will do it again and again to share with friends as well, it was simply the best and only wish we could have stayed longer, thank you thank you thank you!! We enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. The house is located on the best side of the lake with an amazing view. Ashlee was incredibly responsive and helpful. The house had everything we needed. Even though the lake was low we were still able to tie our boat up to the buoy and use the dock as needed. We will definitely come back to this house when we come to the lake.

We couldn’t have been happier with the house. It was super clean and had everything we needed including soft sheets and crisp new white towels… I loved that! The dock was perfect to hang on and fish from. My 8 year old son caught his first fish! It was the best week away and we can’t wait to be back

Celebratory weekend with family
My husband and I were celebrating our 50th anniversary and so we decided to have a weekend away with our kids and grandson. Ashlee, the owner, had put up a banner and balloons for the occasion which was such a surprise and very nice of her to do. The house was spotless and comfortable and was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Communication with Ashlee was very good. The weather was not too good to us, extremely windy, but we had a great time nonetheless and we would love to come back another time.

This was the perfect getaway for my family. Beautiful setting right on the lake. Kids fished right off the dock, we enjoyed the paddleboards, took our boat out and just sat in the backyard and enjoyed the view.

The Perfect Getaway
This was the perfect getaway for my family. Beautiful setting right on the lake. Kids fished right off the dock, we enjoyed the paddleboards, took our boat out and just sat in the backyard and enjoyed the view.

We had another great stay over Memorial Day Weekend. The Gai’s are great hosts and the Red Roof Cabin is a gem. It’s very well stocked with a large deck, beautiful views, and activities included swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing, fishing and boating. What more can you ask for? We had another great stay over Memorial Day Weekend. The Gai’s are great hosts and the Red Roof Cabin is a gem. It’s very well stocked with a large deck, beautiful views, and activities included swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing, fishing and boating. What more can you ask for? This is a marvelous place in a special spot!! Two large view bedrooms w/tvs, and bunk rm. Kitchen: every thing you would ever need, like new! Lots of sitting space in living room. Large lakeview deck. The dock was handy. The fishing was great! There are 2 or 3 special restaurants a mile more or so away. Also a great little market with the best meat you will ever eat is close to the restaurants. The cabin hostess is easy to work with. Red Roof Cabin is special!!

Wonderful vacation home.
Well kept and stocked with all the essentials. Nice and clean bathrooms.. wonderful laundry area. Kitchen has the best view to enjoy while you prep the meal. Nice seating on the deck to enjoy the coffee and s’mores with friends and family.

Fantastic trip!
Excellent experience at the Red Roof cabin during a fishing trip. The location is perfect, the house has everything you could need, and Ashlee took care of making things as easy as possible for us. Renting paddle boards and kayaks made the most of the waterfront location, and the sunsets were great. Would highly recommend and hope to return in the future.

Perfect
Despite covid-19, smoke and fires in California, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were able to get in some fishing, kayaking and hiking at Lassen Volcanic National Park (blue skies). The cabin has everything you could need for an enjoyable relaxing stay. Would highly recommend!

The Red Roof Cabin is a beautiful gem on Lake Almanor. Ashlee was an incredible host, always just a text away if we needed anything. The cabin has everything you could dream of, the most comfortable beds and linens, modern appliances, and a lovely cozy cabin charm.
