Comfortable and great proximity to everything we needed
No fan to combat hot weather, or fridge in room for keeping waters etc. cold.

The room was comfy and very clean, the location is excellent, plenty of shops and cafes nearby; the castle and the Royal Mile are within walking distance.

Nice and quiet location set off from the main thoroughfare. I came to Edinburgh for a conference held at the EICC, which was an easy walk (about 20 minutes, which I broke up into half every morning by stopping at a cafe for breakfast en route.) Very clean and enjoyed view of the garden. The bowl of fruit and biscuits with coffee and tea and a bottle of water was very nice and made me feel welcome!
It is as described and the communication also very good.
