This was my first stay in a Hilton. If this were based on room only, I would only rate it 'fair for the price', however the breakfast was plentiful and they catered for vegetarians and gluten free. The fact that it is included in the room price makes up for the otherwise very average hotel room.
I'd say the hotel room was on par with the typical budget hotel chains however the cleanliness could be improved. Behind the bedside tables were very dusty, the sheets whilst they appeared to be clean, were stained in places and there were cobwebs in the room.
The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious (though it was an accessible room).
Take earplugs to minimise the road noise and disrespectful guests who will let doors slam throughout the night (perhaps because we were close to the fitness centre).
Overall, adequate for a city centre stay without breaking the bank.

We had a brilliant stay, it was clean, quiet and very friendly, helpful service. We were able to leave my partners bike in a safe place during our stay.

Free buffet breakfast was good.
They had the body lotion dispenser in showet area instead of a conditioner. Staff did come and check it but never really did anything to replace it for the duration of our stay.

We have stayed here a few times as close to family. Great staff and a fine breakfast. Clean rooms and good shower. Close to transport but easily walkable, plenty of good food/drink and retail nearby. Always feel happy when I walk into the reception here and collect my key.

The pillows were really terrible, but the staff are amazing they’re very accommodating. My daughter slept on the sofa bed - but it was very bumpy and uncomfortable, no mini fridge or complimentary water or cookies? Location is great, not that far from the city.

Having arrived for checking far too early we were given a storage room for our bags and a complementary breakfast. That made our holiday even before checking in.
The Staff were really helpful & the beds & room super comfortable.

Limited Parking was a concern and a bit far from city centre. Otherwise a good hotel with fountain park arcade mall within walking distance.

Reception service awful, only one person on desk (2:45pm)

Overall it was a pleasant stay, the breakfast was very good with a huge selection to choose from. Rooms were adequate, my only issue is the bed is too firm and I didnt sleep very well. Carpet had a few stains in it.

I strongly disagree with the pay by card only policy, one should have the choice to pay cash. I also requested a twin room for myself and my friend, however we were in a room with a very small double bed which was very close to the wall at one side. There was absolutely no view at all.

It was a good stay. The staff were very polite and professional. The facilities were clean.

Breakfast wasn't good. The bacon was overcooked, the sausage was mediocre, the only eggs were scrambled, and usually cold. You need to expand your choice eggs, get a better tasting sausage, and don't let the bacon dry out and go hard.
House keeping needs to be done every day. We were pleased at the cleanliness of the hotel and especially the rooms and corridors. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.

Me and my boyfriend had a great stay in this hotel. The room is very clean and we loved the breakfast buffet. Good value for the money. We would definitely book again soon.

The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were lovely. We walked into the city centre and it was a nice steady flat amble. The only negative we could comment on was the breakfast situation. The hotel was busy and on our first morning we couldn’t find a table. The other mornings were slightly better. The hot buffet was mediocre

Reception was clean and tidy, staff pleasant, breakfast plenty of it and hot , taste ok,
Would come again.
My only downside, as I was in a disabled room, the shower water did not stay in the shower area, it came all over the bathroom floor. Reception staff said they would notify maintenance staff.
Apart from that enjoyed my stay.
