Situated in Vernon, this lovely house for $62 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Located on lower Silver Star Road (on two acres) at the outskirts of town but a mere 20 minutes from amazing outdoor adventures at Silver Star Mountain and Sovereign Lakes. Also close to beautiful lakes, great hiking and biking in Kalamalka Provincial Park as well as biking on the "Rail Trail" along the lakes towards Kelowna and summer hiking This one bedroom detached suite comes with everything you need: One queen bed with high quality, new bedding Fully stocked kitchen with full size appliances Full size bathroom, white towels etc Flat screen TV, cable. Wifi is included. Laundry - washer dryer shared with home owners Air conditioning in summer! The suite has a dedicated gas furnace so you can control your own heat. Private entrance Come summer you have an outdoor sitting area and a view down the valley with access to a bbq The suite is most suitable for 2 people but a futon in the living room can accommodate an extra person or two. A playpen, 2 cots or 2 foam mattresses are also available upon request. This acreage is home to the owners and their mini hobby farm of chickens and raspberries. (no noisy roosters!) Fresh eggs are yours if you need them! Enjoy some great hospitality and low introductory rates while they last ! Queen size bed - new and very comfortable. Drapes to make the room nice and dark. This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date. A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request. Our house rules: no smoking, no parties or events, no pets. No smoking. This is a great place for someone looking for a little quiet R&R - ski, cook a nice meal, watch a movie etc. Owners live on site and are respectful of your need for privacy. We speak Dutch and a little German.

The suite is accomodating for 2 people. It is well located, close to stores and 20 mins away fron Silver Star resort. It provides the necessities for a short stay.

The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed to feel at home. The surrounding area is beautiful! Spent the week skiing and adventuring at Silverstar Resort. The house was only a 20 minute drive from the resort. Hosts were friendly and welcoming.

My husband and daughter stayed here for a month for a father/daughter retreat. They found it peaceful and relaxing, and felt at home. Martin and Frances took time to invite them for coffee and to get to know them, very kind people. Thank you!

This is a really comfortable and quiet place for a couple. We managed with four adults reasonably comfortably. A curtain separates the living room from the rest of living space to give the second couple a little bit of privacy.
In warm weather the patio at the back was an awesome place to spend the evening. There is also a barbecue if you want it.

Property ideal as it was close to family who live in Vernon. Property was spotlessly clean and well presented having everything we needed. Hosts were very hospitable and helpful and the eggs they gave us were great. Will definitely visit again next year

Martin and Frances are wonderful hosts, friendly, quiet, respectable, and considerate to the needs of their guests. Their Vrbo home is peaceful, functional, well equipped with the basic necessities of travellers, and conveniently located close to shopping, biking, and groceries. It was very clean, well designed and quality built. It served as a much needed 'home' base as we visited family in southern BC and picked up our ebike. Thank you so much, Martin and Frances for welcoming us to your Vrbo home. It was a huge blessing for us when we were so far from our northern home :). May goodness shine upon you greatly!

It was a great way to celebrate a family get together. It had everything we needed: great backyard barbecue fire pit and chickens. Beds were comfortable. Have no problem going back!

This is a great spot for relaxing and enjoying the Vernon area. The hosts are great and very helpful, It is my go to spot in Vernon if possible. Small but cozy, and the best equipped kitchen I have stayed at! Nice bathroom!

Although this is a downstairs unit, it receives lots of natural light from large, well-placed windows. The unit is well equipped and sparkling clean! This location is handy both for visiting family in Vernon and for getting to Silver Star. Martin and Frances are wonderful hosts!

We stayed for 28 days and found The living room futon very uncomfortable if you are over 20. Bed very comfortable. Large yard and lots of chairs for relaxing. Laundry was useful. Would only return with better living room furniture.

I moved to Vernon from the Lower Mainland this year. Booking this suite was a great decision and made the transition so much easier. The space has all the essentials including a huge backyard and covered parking. Quiet, comfortable, and affordable. It was the perfect situation as I searched for long term rentals and started work in the interior.
Martin and Frances are incredible hosts, and it was a true pleasure getting to know them. They take pride in their property and treat guests like family.
I highly recommend this suite, especially if you're looking to get settled in Vernon but haven't found a permanent home. Thanks Martin & Frances, so many great memories at your place!

Martin and Frances were kind and thoughtful hosts. They provided an extra mattress for our 4-year old, and left toys for her to play with. They also called to check in on me when I hurt myself skiing. They are lovely and considerate and we felt relaxed staying in their home. The suite was also well-equipped, clean, and cozy. We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to return one day. Also, the farm fresh eggs they left for us were delicious!

There are two units on the property. Both are very clean. There is a very nice view out to the back of the property. Good location and the hosts are wonderful! A perfect way to start my journey!
