Location was great, with plenty of interesting shopping moments away. There were countless places to eat, a cafe for coffee opposite. Only a 10 minute walk into the centre of the city. The room was nice and clean, with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. Suited our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) perfectly.

We actually booked this place as a replacement for another place we were originally staying at. The original place was too small for our large luggages and was also not clean (to the usual standard I see in Japan).
This room in comparison was huge and was able to accommodate our two huge luggages. We were only a couple so it was a lot of space for us but it would be perfect for a family.
It was very clean and they have one free washer and dryer on the 3rd floor. You only have to purchase detergent at the front desk for ¥100.
There weren't any staff at the front desk which made it a little difficult to make a request to call for a taxi or even purchase the laundry detergent. In our case, there was a staff member the night before that reserved a taxi for us for the next day. We understand it was an additional request but we really appreciate it as we didn't have a phone to use in Japan to call ourselves (we also didn't have the GO downloaded before coming to Japan).
The AC unit was loud and we had to wear ear plugs to sleep when it was on.

Great location. Nice garden entrance.
Terrible view out the hotel window of a blank wall.
There was mould all over the walls outside our room.
The staff aren’t there much and don’t seem very friendly or welcoming.
