The room itself was a highlight — large, clean, and with a comfortable bed. All good there.
Check-in follows a self-service code system, which is perfectly reasonable — but I received no instructions through my booking. I had to call the hotel to find out what to do. To the staff's credit, someone came promptly and helped me through the process in a friendly and professional manner, so no hard feelings here.
Overall, the hotel has genuine strengths, and the staff were pleasant and willing to help. Better communication about check-in ahead of arrival would be great - via booking not via whatsapp, since I made my reservation via booking, that's where I expected the communication about check-in.
The bathroom has no shower cabin; instead, the shower is mounted on the wall with water draining directly on the floor, I had to be careful to prevent water from spreading into the room. Worth knowing in advance.
Breakfast was also different from a typical hotel setup. Rather than a buffet or à la carte morning service, you are required to pre-order the evening before and select from a limited menu of sandwich varieties. It was fine once I understood the system, but I still prefer the buffet way, since I like my scrambled eggs in the morning.
