Solid location with great facilities and cordial staff

Staff were very nice. They accommodated our request for a late check out. Service was solid. Facilities were nice. Liked the pool and the room. Importantly, as the villa is 100m off the main street, it is extremely quiet, which is important to me. I would be fine to stay here again as it was quite comfortable. Good food options locally that were within walking distance.

Only reason I'm giving a 9 rather than a 10: Staff members would oftentimes smoke at the reception area which is adjacent to the pool. As someone who is very health conscious, this was a huge turn off when I'm trying to swim in the pool or enjoy some relaxation and I'm smelling tobacco. I can't control if other guests do it, but the staff members should step outside the gate to smoke (or just stop smoking in general, as it's not good for your health nor wallet).

The perfect hideaway holiday in the Canggu chaos!!

The pool was amazing, rooms were tidy and perfect size! Staff were so so lovely and helpful! Location is great with easy access to Gogecks!

Amazing

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed in my life. Everything about the Palms is truly amazing. The room and bed was very comfortable, and the pool/facilities were beyond! The staff was very very friendly, they make the bed / fresh towels etc every day. Every night when I got back to the room they had lit up a candle with scented oil and a cute basket with a flower and cookies on the bed. In the afternoon they brought fresh fruits to the guests that were hanging out by the pool, so so sweet! Drinks and small snacks are available at the bar near the pool. Location is perfect as well, some nice (breakfast) cafés are at walking distance and there are options to rent a motor bike close by, the beach is 10 mins by motor bike max. All in all a wonderful stay and I was sad I had to leave. Thank you!!

Short but sweet

I didn’t like the bathroom being outside from my main door so my sink area didn’t have a door - I wanted to leave things like makeup etc by the outside door

A no-brainer for staying in Canggu

Impeccable, new rooms, super clean & comfy, friendly & chill staff. Great operations in place. RONJI THE CAT is the top asset, she is a super loving, well behaved cat who wants a lot of attention and firm massages. I do hope that the Palms team continues to feed her (I am happy to sponsor her if any issues in the future please msg me!)

Amazing - beautiful and peaceful

Super quiet and the room was amazing. We had room 15 which was stunning. Lovely balcony overlooking the pool and the room was a good size. Bathroom is unique and feels like you are showering outside! A very relaxing place to stay

It’s not a ‘not like’ but I think offering breakfast would benefit with ratings. They seem to have the capacity and space to do it. There are however places to eat without working distance

Sleepless stay

The property looks nice. It had the hallway where we could hang pur laundry. The hotel provides ear plugs which is a nice gesture. There are several restaurants at a decent walking distance.

The bed was hard enough to wake up with back pain every morning. We are ok with a firm mattress but this one was too hard. Way too loud. You hear all motorbikes from the main street and the dogs barking at night. Our room was said to have a terrace, which it didn’t. It had the hallway instead. The bed sheets had a lot of stains and every day fresh shoe marks. AC was loud and made weird noises which made it harder to fall asleep. Beach is not easily reachable by foot.

Der perfekte Start einer Bali Reise!

Die tolle Atmosphäre des Hotels, trotz der sehr zentralen Lage, ist man wie in einem kleinen Paradies und hat seine Ruhe! Der Pool war toll zum Abkühlen und man kann dort sogar ein paar Bahnen ziehen! Das Personal war stets super zuvorkommend und bemüht. Vom Hotel aus sind es nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß zu tollen Cafés und Restaurants und auch ein Supermarkt ist direkt gegenüber.

Betten waren eher hart, es gab keinen Fön und unser Zimmer hatte Teppichboden, der bei den Temperaturen glaube ich allgemein etwas zu riechen anfängt, aber alles kein Problem :)

Would definitely come back!

Perfect property. Facilities were excellent and well kept. The staff went above and beyond every day. I didn’t wait for a single thing and was greeted with happiness and kindness by all staff members. Customer service is just exceptional. Drinks by the pool served immediately. Nothing is an issue.

Amazing, 10/10 would stay again.

Great hospitality, loved the small touches that made our stay amazing like coconut water and a cold towel on arrival and the essential oils in the room. Beautiful pool/outdoor area. Good vibes all round! Felt very safe. Great location.

Gorgeous, quiet little oasis in Canggu

Lovely little hotel, comfortable and quiet. It is close to a main thoroughfare with lots of options for meals. Room was clean and fresh water daily.

Breakfast not included. There are some close by cafes which did lovely breakfasts, but you will need to walk to the road for these.

Lovley stay, Friendly staff, comfy pillows & bed. Loaction was good.

Loved how modern the hotel was. Beds were very comfy, pillows comfy too. Staff so welcoming, always tried to help when they could. We rented scooter from hotel and they were great. The manager was so friendly.

an oasis in an island paradise

The property is an oasis, a gem. the manager is extremely helpful and friendly. we love the pool and social area. the rooms are comfy and secure and they actually provide ample toilet tissue in a nice bathroom! lol. The location is close to everything. will definitely stay here next time in Changgu.

Nice place, very friendly staff

Very clean, very helpful and friendly staff. Everything works (AC, fridge), pool is solid, welcome drinks and cool towels. Fresh local fruit on the rooms (must try!) And cool water with mint/lemon is put in the private fridge everyday.

It was one of the most expensive hotels we have been to on our bali trip and there were nicer and cheaper ones. It's a bit too far off the beach and currently a construction site is nearby. Also, there is no breakfast. However, the crate Cafe is nearby and that is just so good.

Almost no lights in the outdoor bathroom. The lightbulb is more than a meter to the left of the mirror so it's more or less dark when you stand in the bathroom in front of the mirror. Small thing but also a little annoying when you stay for a few days.
