(and if you have dates that don't 'fit' the VRBO calendar, we can sometimes work something out) This large cottage has been in the same family since it was built over a century ago and has been thoughtfully renovated to retain its charm and history. Great for a family or group getaway, Cherry Lodge sits on an expansive, private, waterfront property. Truly waterfront, without another cottage, or condo or anything but woods and water in sight, this spacious, craftsman home has woods on 3 sides and hundreds of feet of private, walk into the water shoreline. A private fishing pier is a beautiful 3 minute walk down a wooded path, as is a private tennis/pickleball court. Waterfront fire pit (with firewood provided) is perfect for toasting marshmallows while enjoying beautiful sunsets over the bay. A wash stone beach, huge, sunny lawn, patio with grill and gorgeous sunsets give you plenty of options to relax outside. The home is down a private drive and so you WILL NOT have cars whizzing past your bedroom windows. Plenty of parking for cars and trailers available. Beautiful, craftsman woodwork and original stone fireplace! With 6 bedrooms including 2 waterfront, heated and AC'd 'sleeping porch' bedrooms upstairs, 2 bathrooms, a large living room with original stone fireplace, dining room and comfortably furnished 3 season porch overlooking the bay you will have plenty of space to spread out. These are real bedrooms, with beds. No sleeper sofas, inflatables or futons here. Fully equipped kitchen has everything you need if you choose to stay in and cook those fish you've caught or have a relaxed breakfast. Well mannered dog friendly (up to two of your best friends) with an additional pet fee. Great location -We are adjacent to Horseshoe Bay Farm on Horseshoe Bay Drive and a minute drive, 10 minute walk to a public boat launch and park at Frank Murphy Park and 5-10 minutes from downtown Egg Harbor with restaurants, boutiques, wineries, art galleries, antiquing, stables, golf courses, farm stands, orchards, mini golf all within a short drive. Family owned, both The Annex and Cherry Lodge have 10+ years of happy, satisfied guests. My husband and I and our dog had a wonderful stay at the charming Cherry Lodge! The lakefront is absolutely stunning. Watching sunsets around the fire pit and listening to the waves was a dream. Thank you for allowing us the privilege of enjoying this gem in Egg Harbor!

We loved our stay at Cherry Lodge, it was just what we needed. We did a lot of hiking with our dog "Fred" and some shopping and ate too much at some good restaurants. The manager was very responsive and we adored sitting in the sun room and looking at the lake. There were some breathtaking sunsets. We did not get to use the fire pit but maybe next time. There certainly would be room to bring our kids and grandkids!

We had 12 people stay at Cherry Lodge from 65 years old down to 2 years old. Everyone had a great experience. There are actually 6 bedrooms with a lot of room both inside and out for children to explore. You have a private beach and caught small mouth bass from our shore. The sunset is absolutely amazing. Our closest neighbor was probably 300 to 400 yards away. I would highly recommend this lodge. We will be back.

A fantastic family getaway!

A fantastic family getaway!

After a few months of home school and work due to covid, we were extremely excited for a change of scenery. The cottage was perfect for our family of 5, plus a few extra family guests...and my brother's dog. We had wonderful weather, enjoyed the yard lake, firepit, and cooking meals together. We look forward to returning!
