This stunning wooded getaway features an open concept living space with 3 bedrooms, a loft area, and 2 bathrooms. This is a pet-friendly cabin where you can find a gorgeous wraparound deck to enjoy the secluded quiet of the woods with a fire pit and yard games to make your stay complete. In the spring the Evergreens and Beech trees are green with the freshness of the new growth. The fall offers a spectacular show of color with winter a quiet getaway surrounded by freshly fallen snow. With how secluded it feels, you wouldn't believe it's just a few minutes from the county park boat launches and beaches along the bay of Green Bay. We love our family pet dogs and welcome yours too. Your well-behaved dogs are allowed with prior approval. This property allows up to 2 dogs. There is a fee of $50 per dog/per night, which is collected separately and approximately one week prior to your check-in date. *This property is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we cannot accommodate parties at the property including bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions, or other rowdy gatherings. Comfortably sleep 8 Dog friendly (additional nightly fee, per dog) Board games, card games, and yard games! Great outdoor space Wifi (Due to internet availability in Door County, this property has a 5GB daily limit) 2 Smart TV's and DVD player AC and Heat Washer and Dryer Sleeping Configuration: Main Floor Guest Bedroom: Queen Bed Main Floor Guest Bedroom: Two Twin Beds Upper Floor Primary Bedroom En Suite: King Bed, Master Bathroom, Satellite TV, electric fireplace Loft area: Queen sleeper sofa Bathrooms: Full bathroom with walk-in easy access shower and grab bar on first floor Full bathroom en suite to primary King bedroom with tub/ shower combo on second floor Kitchen Amenities: Kitchen is equipped with a microwave, fridge, stove, oven, toaster, air fryer, traditional coffee pot, and a Keurig. (No dishwasher) Also included are dishes, utensils, pots and pans. Outdoor Space: Beautiful large deck Hexagon shaped composite patio table. Will seat 8 comfortably. Wildlife is commonly observed in the yard. Outdoor fire pit where you spend your evenings around the fire roasting marshmallows and stargazing. Guests bring their own firewood. Fire up the gas grill and cook dinner Door County offers so much to do with 5 state parks that are great for hiking, swimming, or biking. It also has 300 miles of shoreline and 11 lighthouses to explore. We offer culture, recreation and relaxation in a peaceful setting for our guests. Surrounding area: We are centrally located, about 10 miles north of Sturgeon Bay, and a few miles south of Egg Harbor. Sturgeon Bay has grocery stores, pharmacies, and department stores (Walmart and Target), and restaurants. Egg Harbor has shopping, restaurants, and a grocery store. Provided: Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. We provide a starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. We also supply one travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom. Due to health and safety guidelines all pantry items must be removed between guests. Please bring cooking essentials you might need such as cooking oil/spray, salt, pepper and other spices, sugar, etc.

Wonderfully decorated, clean and very comfortable. We were able to relax with all the amenities. Close to all the goodies in town and enjoyed the privacy. Pricing was appropriate for the home. We can’t thank Vrbo and the owners enough.

We were so comfortable in the peace and quiet of the woods. Not a sound ever except nature. Not in the midst of the hustle of tourists but easy access to everything. Had everything we needed for sure. Highly recommend!

Great cabin!!! Close enough to the different towns that it doesn't take long to get places and far enough to relax in quiet and away from traffic. Very spacious for my family of 6 and very clean. Came stocked with basically everything you would need (excluding groceries) to make and serve meals. The property manager was quick to respond when I asked a question and was able to help out with what I needed. Would definitely stay again

Very clean and quiet stay. 15 minutes to egg harbor via car. No cell service for ATT at the cabin. The bedrooms are very comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for a cleaner or quieter space for three kids and two parents.

Had a lovely time at the cabin in the woods. There is an excellent .7 mile loop that is perfect for walking your dogs. House had many games and puzzles for the evening and was perfect for our family of four.

We had a nice relaxing winter weekend in Door County, and The Cabin in The Woods was perfect for my family. The cabin was clean and comfortable, allowing us to rest and enjoy a good book after exploring the local parks with our dog. I contacted the property management company to update our reservation when our daughter unexpectedly joined us for the weekend, and had no trouble getting in touch with someone. Overall, it was great experience.

We had a great stay at this secluded cabin in the woods. It's in an ideal spot, centrally located between Egg Harbor and Sturgeon Bay. Great place to turn off the devices and read a book, go for a walk, and play board games.

This was our 2nd time staying here over Christmas. Very quiet area. The home was very clean and spacious. We spent our days relaxing, playing board games and walking around the area. Our 2 dogs also had a blast running and playing in the snow. Looking forward to going back for our 3rd year.

This was the perfect getaway cabin. It's in a nice secluded woodsy area and very private. It's located in Carlsville which lets you get to Sturgeon Bay south or Egg Harbor and beyond north in just 15-20 mins. Quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was well-appointed with utensils, cooking implements etc. that could be used for a much larger gathering. We will be back again! Many thanks to the hosts, who were very responsive.

Our VRBO was surrounded by beautiful fall colored trees. The entry procedure was simple. The house was was uber clean and the kitchen was well supplied even with coffee. Much appreciated after a 7 hour drive. The massive main bedroom had a large closet, separate bathroom and plenty of lights for the evening. The downstairs bathroom suited our family fine. We would have enjoyed a fire in the fire pit but the wind picked up and we felt it might be a tad dangerous. All in all, the place is a keeper and I'd stay again!

Very nice quiet location. Just what we wanted. The house was very clean with cute fall decorations. The WiFi was weak, but there is nothing that can be done about it. The owner provided a couple of pages of instructions as to how to help make it go faster given the constraints of service in the area. It didn’t bother us as we were on vacation, but it would be difficult if we were trying to work. The water pressure was fine in the bathroom, but for some reason, it was weak in the kitchen. Not sure why. All minor things of course, but things I would like to read in a review. Otherwise we had good communication with the property managers and enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time. Beautiful home, very secluded, serene, peaceful, and woods in abundance. A front row seat to Mother Nature, deer, wildlife, acorns falling, and an awesome fire pit to accent it all.. Definitely a great time!

This property we close to many attractions and parks but still provided seclusion. Our favorite part we having outdoor fires in the beautiful firepit and looking at the stars. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils and even an air fryer. The microwave was broken but we made do without it for the weekend.

The house was great and had everything we needed, would definitely stay again. The check in process was not great however, the code didn't work to get into the house, there was no service we drove back out to a gas station. There was no number to call only an email which wasnt answered until the next day. I ended up finding a phone number for the rental company and they were able to reset the code but that took over an hour. The microwave also did not work which was fine but wanted someone to know.

This was the perfect location for our girls weekend trip. The property is beautiful and secluded. We enjoyed a fire on night 1 and indoor games on night 2. There was plenty of space for our group of 6. We loved althe property and all the amenities.

Gorgeous house in a pretty secluded area. The property was very clean - pictures are accurate. The beds were very comfortable. We had a lot of rain but was able to enjoy the firepit on 1 night. Good location with sites an easy drive away.
