Not all the staff was speaking English but luckily we have translation apps on our phones these days

This place isn’t bad by any stretch of the imagination its just whatever. The prices isnt horrible but its dead center in basically no where. No good places to eat around the only up side is that its by Nijo Castle. If its the cheapest option in Kyoto I would say go for it but its alright I have stayed in better on this trip.
